[River's been oddly quiet and withdrawn ever since the initial, obligatory outburst of her arrival here. For anyone who knows her, it's not like her to wander off and sit by herself to scribble in her TARDIS diary, but that's precisely what she's doing. The events that had happened in Manhattan had clearly shaken her more then she'd let on. She did, after all, have a vulnerable side. She just preferred to keep it well out of sight.

The loss of her parents coupled with the sudden transportation here where they appeared to be well and very much alive had clearly rattled her a bit. It's not as if she thought she'd never see them again in their own universe, but it was still a shock to her system nonetheless, given how recently she'd lost them.

She looks quite lost in thought at the moment, scribbling on a page in the diary, only to frown and erase it a few moments later. A few stray blonde curls falling in front of her face, but she couldn't seem to be bothered with that at the moment]

[ It's always been on and off with River, but he's been without her for longer than he has for a good while, coming here. He's missed her, and it's especially good to see her now that he knows who he is and... everything. But...
