[Homura's own expression remains fairly neutral, though she is curious now. Mutants...? He's insinuating that a so-called mutant has super strength...?

Mutations. They're like - what most people would call superpowers. It's the next stage in human evolution. [His eyes light up with pride when he says this, the pride that Magneto has stoked inside of him.]

And you can't exactly miss mutants. Just about all they talk about on any news these days is the "Mutant Problem." [Airquotes very audible, along with a good deal of disgust.] This place makes no fucking sense.

You serious? [His smile is cold, and it flickers away quickly.] Humans aren't the number one species on the planet anymore. They have people who can read their minds, and walk through their walls, and even take apart some of their favourite things with their minds. They're scared shitless, that's the problem, and half of them want to control us while the other half want to kill us.

[So... abilities she's familiar with. That isn't surprising, given he already referred to them as super powers.

I met a guy who called himself an alien clone with a straight face. The only one here who seems to know about mutants is a giant talking turtle who's apparently never seen a human-shaped mutant before. If you say fuck you to logic, it does sound like we've all been taken from different - worlds, I don't know. Different realities.

If 'the fate of all existence' is dependent on life returning to this city, then it would make sense for people from different realities to be brought here.

Mutants don't take well to having their powers messed with. [He smiles, but it's not a pretty sight - it suggests about three seconds of safety before a massive outbreak of violence. And that would be true, if he still had his fire.] Whoever did this isn't going to get away with it. I can't burn this city down, but I'll tear it apart brick by brick if I have to.
