He flicks it open, holds his other hand out palm-up, and just holds the position for a moment before closing his lighter. Opening it. Closing it. Opening it.

First he looks stunned. Then, he looks angry.]

[Equius looked lost as he wandered the city streets. He had heard the faceless creature, and had filed the information away for the future. However, the entire situation felt surreal to him. Had he not lost consciousness at the hands of the highblood but seconds ago?

And now he was here? Was this some part of the SGRUB game that Aradia or Sollux had not mentioned, or some further sorcery? His fists clenched and he growled in annoyance. This was not the time to be in this place. Where was Nepeta? Where was the highblood?]

[ There's an elderly man wandering around, looking more than a bit lost, but he's taking in his surroundings with an expression of ill-disguised awe. ]

Gone. Everything and everyone else was gone. And here he was, walking through the streets of this colorless city, keeping to himself mostly and observing his new surroundings.

[Well now, this isn't Boston.

Maura's wandering through Asgard in her white lab coat and a pair of Ferragamos - standard attire for the most fabulous ME in Boston. She's not really smiling, but she's not really mad either. Just confused as to why she's here and really enjoying all of the beautiful architecture around her.]

[There is one (1) tiny, serious-looking Japanese girl hauling an anti-tank weapon down the street.

[There is now a lady demon wandering around, checking out the new city she'd ended up in. So much opportunity.

She steps into a building and glances around for someone that looks like they know what they're doing, seeming for all intents and purposes like a slightly shy and confused new arrival.]

[The particular building, not the whole city. The crappy letter she'd gotten explained that, at least a little.]

[ She's walking through the streets, one foot firmly in front of the other as if she were walking a line (she is, it's just not one that can be seen). She doesn't look afraid, that came earlier although the fear is still there - the fear that she's lost him, or couldn't saves him. Simon. That's where her line is taking her, at least River wishes it too. She wants to find him - has to. He has to be okay ]

[ Strolling around Gefion Park, rubbing her temples at all this monochromatic bonanza here and there. Erika means to mumble quietly to herself, but... yeah, no. ]

[River's been oddly quiet and withdrawn ever since the initial, obligatory outburst of her arrival here. For anyone who knows her, it's not like her to wander off and sit by herself to scribble in her TARDIS diary, but that's precisely what she's doing. The events that had happened in Manhattan had clearly shaken her more then she'd let on. She did, after all, have a vulnerable side. She just preferred to keep it well out of sight.

The loss of her parents coupled with the sudden transportation here where they appeared to be well and very much alive had clearly rattled her a bit. It's not as if she thought she'd never see them again in their own universe, but it was still a shock to her system nonetheless, given how recently she'd lost them.

She looks quite lost in thought at the moment, scribbling on a page in the diary, only to frown and erase it a few moments later. A few stray blonde curls falling in front of her face, but she couldn't seem to be bothered with that at the moment]

[There is an anthropomorphic turtle wearing a blue mask and armed to the teeth with ninja weapons leaping from rooftop to rooftop in the later part of the evening, trying to keep out of sight. He has a lot on his mind too, which is probably why he didn't see the banana peel inexplicably left on the edge of the roof he was about to leap gracefully from.]
