Well, I don't really heal. I actually reject events that have happened to something.

It was kind of a war.

[They just got done with one in Kon's world. A really, really bad one. He saw things he shouldn't have, made mistakes he shouldn't have, lost friends he shouldn't have. Life might have returned to normal (or what passes for normal) but the scars are still there. And without his friends, without his team -- without even his powers ...]

Pretty intense.

Uhn. It was pretty scary. Kind of like something that happened back home, really.

Umm... Ours wasn't as interesting, I guess. It was more with ghosts than anything else.

And hey, I think where wars are concerned 'not as interesting' might be, you know, an advantage.

Ghosts?

Eh heh, I guess that's true...

It was mostly between two different armies of ghosts, but me and my friends were still involved in it anyway. Even though we're still alive.

What were your ghosts fighting about?

Umm, well, the bad guy, Aizen, wanted to kill everyone in our hometown to use their souls to make a key to get into the Soul King's realm. The other side, Soul Society, were fighting to keep everyone safe.

Almost everyone from Soul Society got out mostly okay! Although the other side wasn't really as lucky.

Yeesh. I knew it was too much to hope they'd be fighting over who got top billing at the PAC-MAN live action movie.

Your home town doing okay?

Uhn! They're doing great! There weren't even more than a handful of casualties altogether! It's been pretty peaceful!

That's great news. Though you're still here and not there which can't be good.

I try not to worry about it too much. I don't think we're actually missing anything by being here. I think we're just dropped back to the time we came from when we go home.

You're kidding. And here I was telling myself the only silver lining was that I was missing double-math.

Nuh uh! Sometimes they even bring people back once they've left and have them lose their memories of this place! That's what happened to me!
