Jo! [ Ignoring the fact that you're supposed to be dead too and it hurts. Let him throw his arms open. ] C'mon. Been too long. Probably been plenty of tears. You've gotta give me a hug.

Ashland? [She has just enough time to give him a 'you've got to be kidding' raise of her eyebrow before it's all gone and she's grinning cause oh man it's Ash.

She might wonder when was the last time he bathed, and if he'll smell the same way he usually did, and a hundred of other things but that definitely doesn't matter because oh god it's ash. This calls for a hug. And by hug she definitely means jumping up and throwing her arms around your neck.]

Ashland. [ A dead serious expression here, because you don't joke about Ashland.

And then he gets his hug, which is really surprisng but who cares because you're Jo and you're his favorite pseudo-little sister. His only pseudo-little sister, really. ]
