Welcome to the second season of the Asgard Eventide Test Drive Meme! This is your hostess, Noah, very pleased to bring this back after the success of our last drive.

Now the steps are the same as the last time. In fact, mostly copy-pasta:
Step 1: Post with the character and journal you're wanting to play. You're more than welcome to leave the message blank or have a fun little scenario going on. Like fighting that dragon thing or other Assgard shenanigans.
Step 2: Other people respond to your post with new or existing muses! A budding romance! Hilarity! Fluff! A sudden attack! The choice is yours to make!
Step 3: PROFIT!
Step 4: Spread the word! Bring a friend! Make a random announcement on D_M! Get this post to crack the hundreds! It doesn't matter if you end up apping or not! This is a place of fun and meeting new people before the waiting!

Okay I was a little off in my scheduling the last time, but these memes will go up the day of reserves, depending on my own ability to get them up. Other than that, go ahead and have fun.

[He seems to jump out of a daze he'd just been in.]

[Excuse him for trying to think of the many things that might explain just what was going on and where he was.

First assumption: this wasn't real, and he was dreaming.]

Yes, uh -- this isn't real, is it? I'm dreaming and you're a figment of my imagination because your eyes are very, very strange. No offense to you, of course. I'm simply trying to put this together.

No, you're not dreaming. I'm perfectly real. We all are. No figments of imagination here.

[Cheriour nods, smiling genially and patting Jane on the shoulder, as if that will convince him that this is all real life and not just fantasy.]

The reason for my eyes is because I'm an angel, sir. They help me do what I do. But anyways, welcome to Asgard!

[The touch Cheriour gives him only makes him more suspicious, but he doesn't step away from him. The look he gives the other man as he pats him is definitely a warning, if anything. Nothing is said of the matter, though.]

Angels don't exist. And as far as I'm concerned -- neither does Asgard.

[clockeyes]

Well, I certainly exist, last time I checked! And you're standing in Asgard, so it exists as well. This isn't a hallucination, sir.

[All said in the most cheerful tone of voice, as if he's talking about puppies or something.]

You've been chosen by the gods of this place to help. So, here you are! Most of us are in the same predicament as you, don't you worry.

[iseeyou]

[He frowns, his brow furrowing as he takes a look around him. Maybe he had somehow gone into a coma and all of this was an elaborate dream.

Maybe he should just go along with it until he wakes up. Waving his hand dismissively, he speaks up;]

Fine, fine. I'll humor you -- so I was chosen by the gods. Why?

[clockeyes]

I don't know! They all have their own reasons, I guess. So far, there doesn't seem to be a pattern.

[He shrugs, gazing around at the faceless people before returning those clocks back to Jane.]

Oh, before I forget, you do remember which house you were put in, right? I can show you there and you can learn all about the new power you have.

[iseeyou]

[No reasons were given to the people who 'showed up' in Asgard? That was absurd.]

Ah, yes. Loki, I believe. The Norse trickster god.

[Then, wait. What?]

[Jane does appreciate it -- honestly he hadn't expected to hear a word out of the other man's mouth. He didn't seem like the type.]

_{[Kyle stops and frowns at Jane, tilts his head back a little. It might give the impression that he's sizing the other man up, but honestly, he's more confused than anything right now.]}

Anyway -- I was hoping you would know something about the place we're in, but, judging from the look on your face... no, no you don't.

Well, yes. The way you're holding yourself and that ever so small furrowing of the brow that you have, along with that frown, and -- well, I could go on. You're not exactly the best at hiding your confusion.

[Jane gives him a small once-over]

_{[What the -- he folds his arms, looking unnerved.]}

Not anymore.

What are you supposed to be, Sherlock Holmes?

[He chuckles, shaking his head.]

No, I'm just observant.

And me, too. Well, I still work for the police. CBI. I don't get the shiny badge, though. Just laminated plastic.

I believe so. I'm not quite sure if I believe if 'here' even exists, though.

[He steps forward.]

Is that your natural hair color?

[A scowl crosses Ichigo's face as he says that, though. He really hoped this guy wasn't going to start a fight over it.]

[He makes a small 'hmm' to himself, then smiles.]

Well, orange is a vibrant color. You've got a lot of strength in you. Based on how defensive you get about it, you've probably been picked on as a kid. Still are, I think.

[He tilts his head, giving Ichigo a once-over.]

You do a lot of physical work, don't you? You're not part of the police force, that's for sure. You're not the type.
