OPTIONAL SCENARIO: After your character receives his or her bracelet and the run-down from the faceless maids in the castle, they walk out to find the city blanketed with snow and in the middle of what seems to be a snowball war organized by the Native children! Be careful on your way to your Welcome House: snowballs are flying, and these groups of giggling kids don't seem to care who gets caught in the crossfire. Make sure to have fun, and as always, feel free to hit the mods or players up with any questions you might have! ♥

[Yes, he does spot it. Mikazuki may act like a brash idiot, but he isn’t stupid and his opponents always get his full attention. He picked fights with enough shady people to realize the situation might get dangerous quickly, but he isn’t one to back away from a challenge. Even if using knives (or whatever that metal thing is) is not very sportsmanly.]

I don’t know where they’re at exactly, but we can look for them together!

[He approaches Yusuke, seemingly casual but actually alert. Everything is tense as if held by spring, ready to act.]

[Dryly:] How kind of you to offer. But if you don't know where they are, I think I'll probably have better luck on my own.

[Yusuke keeps his own stance relaxed - or at least, outwardly so. In actuality, he's just as ready to move the instant there's any need to do so.

...Of course, if it were up to him, he'd avoid a fight entirely, but it looks like Mikazuki isn't about to let him do that. It's annoying, really; his kind aren't meant to be getting in fights all the time, particularly in broad daylight, where everyone can see him.]

You're so cold, Yu-chan! And after I've been trying so hard to be friendly. But I know a great game to loosen you up. You're gonna love it - I call it "catch".

[As it turns out, Mikazuki's version of "catch" is closing the distance in a few bounds and swinging a fist at Yusuke's face.]

[Why does this guy keep getting more and more familiar with that name usage...

Still, when that swing comes flying, Yusuke quickly ducks down and makes a diving roll to the side, righting himself quickly again to give a cheeky wave. In that same hand is a thin, needle-like blade.]

Sorry, was that supposed to hit?

[Mikazuki hops from leg to leg, grinning and chuckling, low sounds from the back of his throat threatening to turn into a full blown maniacal laugh.]

Wrong, wrong, WRONG! That’s not how the game goes, Yu-chan. You have to take the punch when you play catch. Your turn now, I’ll show you how it’s done!

[He spreads his arms in a “come at me” gesture.]

[With an exaggerated sigh, he tucks away the blade again and raises his shoulders in a shrug.]

I think I'm gonna have to pass. Like I told you before, I'm not that into violence.

[As long as we ignore those years and years of bullying.]

Besides, I'm pretty sure that even if I tried to punch you, I'd break my hand on your brick of a head.

[He didn't expect indifference. The guy was armed for crying out loud, surely provoking him should have worked?]

[He sounds truly disappointed. And a tad whiny.]

It's not like I was kidding about having stuff to do. Besides, from the looks of it our styles don't mesh at all.

If you want to fight me so badly, wouldn't it be better to go and figure out how you're going to achieve that?

[Not that Yusuke plans to give in at any point. Sorry Mikazuki, but he only picks fights with people who he knows he can beat.]

Sorry, but I can't tell you. I'm pretty sure that defeats the entire purpose of the club.

You could probably call it a sports club, though. And before you ask, it's not any kind of fighting, either. [Not that any school would let its students get away with carrying around knives...]
