♦ three: they tell you in detail what their character thinks of your character. TL;DR is encouraged; that's how this works.
♣ four; optional: discuss it with them if you want! Make a big chain of tl;dr if you're up to it.
♥ five: other people do the same thing to you! Maybe you even harvest your tl;dr to use in a CR chart later.
♠ six: keep checking back in so that no one is ever late!

But the idea that Davesprite is his brother holds. He's a Dave. Whether he likes it, or not.
Dirk just can't give up on him, and he doesn't want to. Things happened, and they managed to reconcile. It's the first time he's managed to actually have a talk like that. Funny enough it gave him a little self-esteem boost. Again, he had the whole hero worship bit going on. But with feather bro it was easier to look past that and just try to talk to him. Neither of them had a snowball's chance in hell of not being awkward. Yet they tried.
To Dirk things were ok, even with the little things he began to notice that seemed to reflect his own problems. During the dream event, Dirk saw a lot. Dead Daves aplenty, the echoes of what happened to himself, the guardian him. It made him extremely protective of his brothers. Neither of them would die on his watch. He would not allow it.
When it comes to feather bro, he lets down his guard. He's more open with him. Why? It's the sense of the familiar in a way. In another it's because he's treated like a person outside of what Dave is looking for. Neither has to make any airs for the other. It's all fine.
Well.
It was.
With Jake already avoiding him, it was a blow for Davesprite to do it. He thought they were fine and it made him frustrated and hurt to suddenly be in the same boat with his brother. He didn't know what else to do, so he fell back on what he knew. A fight. Try to get him to talk.
It likely wouldn't have ended well because when it comes to these two they're both spinning on their own self loathing. But it boils down to seeing himself as a threat to Davesprite. He fucked up, and he did in a way that he promised himself he'd never do again. He will protect him, even die in his place if that's what it took, but he doesn't blame his bro for avoiding him.
He'd ditch himself too.

Davesprite would seriously not know what to make of it if he realizes Dirk still has traces of hero worship going on. But, god, they are in desperate need of a feelings jam.

So Dirk's going to die, then, right? I'm wondering if/how the Daves would find out, because holyyy shit, Davesprite is hunting Dave down pronto. And then they'll get split up out of carelessness or whatever and die anyway.

And then they both did equally stupid things.
It's hereditary.

As calmly as possible.
Just saying.
