[well that's a little worrying. He doesn't have any recollection of ever being here - part of him wants to think that if he escaped, there's no way he'd ever willingly let himself get caught again. But then again, the reason why he ever would come back on his own is standing right in front of him.]

Do you remember anything at all from last time...? [ And he's really hoping he does and that Axel's genuinely alright with everything between them, that he really thinks it's possible to have a Heart. ]

[he's silent for a long time, watching Roxas and thinking he can see the hope in his face...

but he has to turn away, shaking his head.]

No, I don't. [he pauses, shifts his stance and runs a hand through his hair.] I think some time has passed for me, too, since I was last here.

Oh... [ There's definite disappointment, but some relief too. Seems Axel's future continues on after his stops with Sora's--that's good to know. ] How much time?

[shrugs elegantly, almost like he doesn't care.]

Not much. [but enough. Enough to change his view of some things.]

Oh... [ That's...anticlimactic? He's not sure what he was expecting, really. ]

[considers Roxas a moment. It doesn't necessarily take a lot of time for a lot of things to happen. A lot has happened, but not in a lot of time. The world was funny like that.

Soo...[he glances around. Nope, not much to this place.] What've you been doing for four months stuck in this drab and dreary place?

Not...a lot. [ Went on an adventure, had a gf, broke up with gf, got killed, got stabbed, defeated Vanitas in a battle, caused a bunch of NPCs to fawn over him by accident, found out he had a Dataself, found out Sora was his Nobody MET VEN AND WAS V CONFUSED, spoke to some gods...

Not even. Things are starting to get really bad here lately--there's a war going on.

Is he terribly surprised there's some kind of nefarious conflict going on? No. A war of sorts was looming over all of them where he'd left, so a war here doesn't change much for him in that regard. But truthfully he's getting rather tired of just fighting for survival and to keep the people he's afraid of losing.

He heaves a rather dramatic sigh.]

Aaahhhh, guess everybody's gotta have their conflict. You're not involved, are you?

[and if he is, Lea's unfortunately got a reason to get involved, too.]

Well...everyone sort of is. They're attacking Asgard which is where we live, right? If the Gods lose then every world, not just this one gets destroyed.

I guess that just leads me to wonder what sort of thing can rival a whole litter of gods that they need help from lowly little beings like us.

There's a sickness we can't catch that they can, I think.

[one eyebrow quirks up, whether in surprise or interest is hard to say.]

Who'd'a thought that gods could catch a cold.

Well it's...pretty bad. That's why you need to keep your bracelet on, the one the maid told you about? It protects us from it and if it's off for more than a few hours then you can be affected too.

[glances at the bracelet on his wrist, seemingly examining the stone. Interesting that these gods could do so much to protect them as Travellers but so little to protect themselves.]

It's called the Grey Sickness. It's kind of like...you lose all color and who you are. You act just like the people here did when we first arrived--the faceless ones like the maid.

[eerily reminds him of when he first met Roxas - how blank and dazed and zombie-like he'd been. He's not in a hurry to see it again or experience it himself.

Lea cracks a smirk, waving his hand dismissively.]
