After all it wouldn't be fair to let Roxas go on thinking he's still Axel, especially after his reaction to the earlier part of their conversation. But part of him also doesn't want to add to the confusion. Roxas' memories seem to be all scrambled up between being yanked here after having his memory wiped and all of the bits and pieces he's learned from others that are here, too.

Actually I've...never thought about it. [ But now that he is, isn't it strange that he's got his own name instead of something more similar to Sora's?? And how did he even know his name was 'Roxas' to begin with? ]

[Realized he should have known Roxas wouldn't remember...but at the same time he's still not entirely sure of what Roxas really does and doesn't know. Mentally shrugging, he continues.]

A nobody's name is created by adding an X to their somebody's original name and re-arranging the letters. So take the X out of Roxas and what do you have?

Right. You n' Sora are a little different though, being Keyblade wielders and all. The rest of us are still pretty much the same person when we become nobodies - we just lose our hearts and gain a letter.

So when we get our hearts back, we don't need that extra letter anymore.

But what about Namine? Her name doesn't have an 'x' in it at all.

Namine is also a special case because of whose heart she comes from.

[whereas the rest of them were all born out of sin or something akin to that, which is why they get that X in their names. Not that he really wants to tell that to Roxas just now.]

But for those of us who aren't born from Keyblade wielders or hearts of pure light, we pretty much just go back to being the person we were before.

So...are Nobodies always different than who they used to be then? Or just special Nobodies?

Like I said, most of us are pretty much one and the same.

Well yeah but--I mean... [ It's the logic part of this he's still trying to understand. How does a Nobody get their Heart back without meeting their Somebody? ]

Did I...collect your Heart? [ he doesn't remember Kingdom hearts yet unfortunately--just that he was supposed to collect them for some reason ]

Then...you have feelings again?? You're whole?? [ There aren't words to describe the bubble of excitement that wells up in his chest when he hears that--because all he's wanted for himself since he found out he was a Nobody was a Heart of his own. And one for Namine and Axel. So hearing that he's found his is just incredible ]

[can't help the fond smile that breaks across his face. Roxas really did play a big part of helping him to get back his heart - he'd given him hope of possibly having one again in the first place, after all.]

Axel, that's great...! --err, Lea? You really have a Heart! [ he's not sure what he had to do with all of it, but he's going to grin like a dork anyway, brimming with happiness just look at they keywords man ]

Laughs, dragging a hand through his hair somewhat self-consciously, wondering if Roxas knows just how incandescently happy he looks right now for someone who supposedly doesn't have a heart. It's a little embarrassing, but he's still immensely pleased he could put that big of a smile on Roxas' face.

Also at least it seems like Roxas will make the effort to use the correct name, unlike some other people he could name Sora and Riku]
