...You're talking to me?

[Yuuko beams, giving a little wave. She was especially interested in the person walking by, since those eyes certainly interest her. A spirit, perhaps? She certainly had never seen a zorigami that looked quite so human.
The beaming smile turns cool, and it matches her voice.] I've just arrived, but there's no better way to meet people than over drinks.

[He approaches slowly.] You just arrived, miss?

[She beams, motioning to the open wicker chair at her side. She picks up the other glass, starting to pour one for him (as well as topping off her own glass!)]
It's a shinshū wine, from the Nagato prefecture, according to the liquor store's owner. It's a very good one!
[Yuuko sets the bottle down, offering the glass] Three hours ago, I would say. But the three hours have been very hospitable so far.
no subject
Is it? [He takes it, swirling it a bit just to see how the liquid falls up and down the sides of the glass.]
Only three hours? Wow, that's very new! Welcome to Asgard, miss. There are a lot like you here, though some of us have been here longer than others.

[She takes a sip of her wine, digesting this new information. It certainly makes the gods a more likely possibility than the worst case scenario she had come up with. Even Clow would have been stressed to bring quite this many people as separate acts. This information calms her worries, yet raises quite a few questions that she'll have to seek out the answers to.]
Your name?
no subject
Ah, me? I'm Cheriour, miss. I'm an angel of the Lord. And your name?
no subject
[She raises her glass as a motion for a toast]
My name is Yuuko. Ichihara Yuuko. It's a pleasure, Cheriour-san.
[Of course, that beaming smile and interest in him nicely gets away from the topic of what she means by the "traditional way."]

[He pauses and then raises his glass, miming her.] A pleasure, miss Yuuko. [AND HE WON'T BE DISSUADED THAT EASILY, YUUKO.] And, erm, you didn't answer my question from before.

[Yuuko leans back in her chair, motioning with her free hand languidly.] Tsukumogami. Objects which have reached their 100th year of existence and comes to life.
[There's a pause, the serious expression she had while explaining suddenly quirking into a small smile. It's been a long time since she's gotten to use this joke!]
What I said just now was from the Japanese learning dictionary, 2nd edition.
[She says it quite seriously despite her small smile, her hand settling to rest on the arm of her chair again. She's not exactly expecting the energetic reaction of Watanuki (what a shame!), but it's still fun nonetheless. The smile stays because he's interested enough to note that she hadn't answered, which of course means that she's obligated to now.]
Ah, but excuse me for that. I was a bit excited to meet such a rare creature that I had forgotten. [Which isn't quite true, but.] I meant that sending people to a new world in separate little clusters is a very strange way to do it. It's requires quite a lot of power to do it. Though it certainly makes me believe that we were brought here by gods! I can only imagine that gods would be capable of such a thing.
