Morgana (no, this is not a comment on her age!) became Nakama's mother figure the very first day they met, and unfortunately, that comes with a certain set of rules. She'll accept kindness and support, and she'll go to her for help with teenage girl issues ("I like this boy, what do,") but there's also a lot she fights fiercely to hide from Morgana. Because even though she doesn't believe in protecting the feelings of others through lies of omission, that rule has just never counted with her mother; Miko had to be protected from the worst, and now so does Morgana. Unless she listens in on open conversations about it, she won't find out about the war, or about just how bad it was for her back home, or why. Especially not why.
