Cloud tends to bring out defensive feelings in Nakama. It feels like he's always questioning her ability, rejecting her help, always trying to turn her away from something. It's mostly either gruffness or protective instinct, but she's not really used to either, so she reads it all as rejection of who she is and what she can do and gets very stiff-necked about it. If she ever realizes that he's trying to help her, she'll be extremely embarrassed and probably redouble her offers to help him forever.

...You know that's actually reassuring. Because I've felt sometimes like I'm just doing something OFF or wrong with Nakama in their threads, but I guess they're just that much at odds with wanting to be self-reliant and useful/wanting to protect and not be weak at all. It makes sense considering the personalities. And social skills.

...also guessing that Nakama thinks Cloud is immature and reckless for the ballpit, considering the comment to Riku. (...Would be pretty accurate in some ways... XD)

Well, I think she knew he was reckless from all that running around on the roof business, but she also knows him a bit better, so she's more "WTF IS THIS SHIT" about the ball-pit incident than she was with Riku.
