ok no not pretty much ugh these stupid friendless idiots anyway!! like i told you i think that things are slightly less... complicated? on sena's end because sure there's the liking the same guy and the rivalry / dislike that already sparked off even before kodaka became an issue but! she doesn't have yozora's trust issues bec well sena's a bit more open??? willing to take chances and just not capable of holding back when it comes to things (see: her galge, kobato creeperness) she likes. NOT THAT SHE LIKES YOZORA idk i really love their dynamic! like yozora she's not ever going to phrase it or ever think of it like I WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH HER because again their other primary issue (aside from the obvious kodaka thing) is that their dynamic doesn't match their ideas of friendship. yozora's was formed with kodaka. sena... well sena is actually the most friendless of them??? i think. at least kodaka and yozora had each other and while technically she's also supposedly childhood friends with kodaka neither of them remember it!

oh my god i am full of rambling but anyway yes, sena desperately wants genuine friendship with other girls and well her idea of it seems to be pretty rooted doting on / adoring / being adored by your friend! it also kiiiind of doesn't help that getting into galge is going to give her an even weirder perspective on friendship so yes her combative relationship with yozora doesn't fit into it but. i do think senadoes want friendship from yozora too because all the other girls at their school just shun her and tell her to go away and yozora's verbal abuse while y'know verbal abuse is still attention, consistent attention from another girl! while yozora's told her to go away, she hasn't exactly barred sena from the club! so i think she's less actively in denial about wanting to be friends with yozora. not that she'd consciously admit to it but she still pretty obviously pursues interaction with yozora, comparing grades, etc. and while she's never going to stop being upset over how much yozora insults her, she's also going to be pretty upset if yozora stops like with the whole meat nickname thing it's so degrading but it's still a nickname someone gave her which is as close to a friend-like gesture she's gotten from anyone since. maybe ever? (poor kodaka doesn't count for her apparently) which is why she went RAWR BAKA YOZORA when she heard that Yozora was referring to other girls as meat! it's an awful nickname but it was a nickname for her! Yozora's nickname for her (how v. saint-exupery, all the taming things god erie be less pretentious) so she is jelly as fuck. her issue about yozora getting other friends again isn't exactly the same, since her issues aren't from being betrayed or anything. she's not going have guh complicated feelings over yozora getting other friends, it's if yozora treats them in a similar way to how she treats sena! which is pretty funny since it's yozora so on the surface yozora's definitely going to be treating everyone the way she does sena but for sena it's... the degree? like yes the fox woman is horrible to everyone but as long as sena's the one the treats the most horribly...
