What about outside the city? Do you think it would be there?

Outside the city..? [ that causes her to ponder for a moment, but she shakes her head. ]

I don't really think there's any way to go out. Unless you feel like pulling off some sort of reckless escape attempt. But someone must have tried something like that before, right?

[He thinks about this for a moment. If adults couldn't do it, then he assumes that he probably wouldn't be able to do it either.]

So no bamboo...

[The panda groans and fidgets on his shoulder.]

Damien sighs, because his panda is a show-off for compliments.]

Yeah. He's Jinjing... He goes everywhere with me. Apparently, here too...

[ THE CUTEST PANDA. She's rather in a near-trance over it, really, where can she get one of those.. ]

Nice to meet you then, Jinjing! [ TOTALLY SAYING THAT TO PETS when they're this cute, yup. ] I'm Asahi, Asahi Yuki-- ah, I guess that goes to you too, of course!

Why not? It's not like there's anything bad about it! Calling you by your first name would be way too informal, this is a good balance, Aurelius.

But isn't calling a younger person by their last name a bit too formal and weird...? I'm only thirteen...

[While the two talk about the differences in name-calling, Jinjing will just be a big lump of black and white on Damien's shoulder, groaning every once in a while. STOP TALKING ABOUT NAMES AND GIVE ME FOOD.]

He's just really, really hungry. I have to feed him something else if I can't give him bamboo.

What kind of stuff do pandas like? [ She isn't entirely sure, well, other than bamboo. But she's still determined to do this!! ]

Just say something and we'll go out to find it no problem! There has to be some food around here, after all!

I remember him eating a pumpkin pie whole...

[But he's not entirely too sure what pandas would normally eat besides bamboo since he usually isn't the one to feed it.

If you want, we could just go and check out the dining hall! I mean, he could just try out some food and see what he likes, right?

I don't think pandas get sick that easily, either way.. [ thinking. ]

I checked the kitchen and Jinjing didn't seem to like it... [ew frozen nuggets.] And that's true... I haven't seen Jinjing sick once.

[ slowly reaching out to pat the panda.. that much should be okay, right?! ]

He can be picky sometimes, but sometimes not... But I don't want to feed him only one thing all the time. He would get tired of it, just like people... right?

[Jinjing nods while staring at Asahi while giving him a low squeak.]

That's true, but he's got to learn to eat at least most things! It's okay if he doesn't like everything, but there should at least be some different kinds of food here, right?
