TEST DRIVE MEME #2
THE RETURNENING
Welcome to the second season of the Asgard Eventide Test Drive Meme! This is your hostess, Noah, very pleased to bring this back after the success of our last drive.
Now the steps are the same as the last time. In fact, mostly copy-pasta:
Step 1: Post with the character and journal you're wanting to play. You're more than welcome to leave the message blank or have a fun little scenario going on. Like fighting that dragon thing or other Assgard shenanigans.
Step 2: Other people respond to your post with new or existing muses! A budding romance! Hilarity! Fluff! A sudden attack! The choice is yours to make!
Step 3: PROFIT!
Step 4: Spread the word! Bring a friend! Make a random announcement on D_M! Get this post to crack the hundreds! It doesn't matter if you end up apping or not! This is a place of fun and meeting new people before the waiting!
Okay I was a little off in my scheduling the last time, but these memes will go up the day of reserves, depending on my own ability to get them up. Other than that, go ahead and have fun.
NOW! FIRE ZE MISSILES!

[It definitely can't be the afterlife, though Natalia's last moments are haunting her as well. Sitting in a room, being offered poison to take her own life, questioning her parentage...did she take the poison? Is this something else? She had no intention to drink, certainly, but...if she was brought here by gods...]
It's for the better, then. It doesn't seem I can use my healing artes. [Downplaying it is definitely for the best, but the longer she talks? The less she feels uncertain. Pushing forward is one of her specialties, and the task at hand is important, too.] I can't say that I have. You are the first person like me I've come across. The rest don't seem...as aware of their surroundings. They're colorless.

[Not that he hasn't heard of gods and goddesses, but this is ridiculous.]
You're a healer? [He thinks this over.] I feel different, too, to tell you the truth. Changed. [His reflexes are slower, and he's pretty sure he's less strong than he was, none of that legendary SOLDIER power. (Not that he thinks that's necessarily a bad thing now, considering.) And that can't be because of what happened, can it?]
Too bad you haven't seen him, but thanks. [He nods, frowning.] Yeah, I'd noticed that. It's more than a little odd. [And he didn't like it, either. It reminded him of things he'd seen before, mindless, unaware people, altered...] You're the first person like us I've come across, too.
Oh, I almost forgot. [He suddenly smiles again.] The name's Zack. Nice to meet you.

I wish I could be of more help, Zack. I was told our purpose here was to bring color to this world. [She takes a deep breath. The nerve of these people; it gets to her, it really does.] Kidnapping is hardly the proper means to an end. They have no right. [She can at least smile, though, when she introduces herself. Even if it feels a little forced.] And likewise, even given the circumstances. My name is Natalia.
