Welcome to the second season of the Asgard Eventide Test Drive Meme! This is your hostess, Noah, very pleased to bring this back after the success of our last drive.

Now the steps are the same as the last time. In fact, mostly copy-pasta:
Step 1: Post with the character and journal you're wanting to play. You're more than welcome to leave the message blank or have a fun little scenario going on. Like fighting that dragon thing or other Assgard shenanigans.

Step 4: Spread the word! Bring a friend! Make a random announcement on D_M! Get this post to crack the hundreds! It doesn't matter if you end up apping or not! This is a place of fun and meeting new people before the waiting!

Okay I was a little off in my scheduling the last time, but these memes will go up the day of reserves, depending on my own ability to get them up. Other than that, go ahead and have fun.

[Indeed, based on just the name and a time, she can't quite bring to mind what his name is. She tunes out more than in in history class, plus, it's not like they really learn anything besides the Sengoku era in detail (seriously...)

But she is from Kyoto, and she does have a vague recollection of the name... Oh well.]

Um, you too. [Out with it!] I'm sorry, I feel like I've heard your name before, but I don't know exactly how.

I guess that would depend on if you've heard of something called the Shinsengumi, maybe.

Tee-vee shows? [Head... tilt. YOU MODERN PEOPLE AND YOUR MODERN STUFF.]

Ah, I suppose it's not important. I'm more interested in my supposed company.

...Right, I guess you wouldn't know about that anyway.

[Man, that's gotta suck, getting used to this.]

By company I mean there's a lot of people, or at least a lot relative to the number you'd expect, from earlier periods in Japan's history. Like yours, or the Sengoku era.

They need warriors to fight a war, don't they? [Smirking.] May as well get the best they can, then.

...Well, not everyone here is exactly the best warrior.

They don't all have to be - but I don't think I'd have to be concerned over a lack of warriors from the Sengoku period, do I?

Yeah, they're definitely less scarce than you'd think.

[She realizes she hasn't cleared up a point yet.]

[Why. Why are modern/western things so... needless?] Tatami isn't good enough in my future, then? What a shame.
