TEST DRIVE MEME #2

THE RETURNENING

Welcome to the second season of the Asgard Eventide Test Drive Meme! This is your hostess, Noah, very pleased to bring this back after the success of our last drive.

Now the steps are the same as the last time. In fact, mostly copy-pasta:
Step 1: Post with the character and journal you're wanting to play. You're more than welcome to leave the message blank or have a fun little scenario going on. Like fighting that dragon thing or other Assgard shenanigans.
Step 2: Other people respond to your post with new or existing muses! A budding romance! Hilarity! Fluff! A sudden attack! The choice is yours to make!
Step 3: PROFIT!
Step 4: Spread the word! Bring a friend! Make a random announcement on D_M! Get this post to crack the hundreds! It doesn't matter if you end up apping or not! This is a place of fun and meeting new people before the waiting!

Okay I was a little off in my scheduling the last time, but these memes will go up the day of reserves, depending on my own ability to get them up. Other than that, go ahead and have fun.

NOW! FIRE ZE MISSILES!

[He is, isn't he? And well aware of the man checking out his tailoring. And Sebastian without so much as a short-range firearm on him. Lord, this is the worst situation possible. Best to cut back on the suspicions and present the usual charming front.]

Hello, chummy. Looking for something?

((Not a problem. "Slow tagging" is my middle name.))

No -- well, not unless you'd be willing to give me an introduction to your tailor.

With all the modern types in this city, it's a relief to see someone who looks to hail from a similar era.
sebasher: (Can I have a medal for that?)

[personal profile] sebasher 2012-02-27 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I'm afraid an introduction is impossible. Unless these gods I've heard so much about are in need of their trousers let out, I suspect he's still back in London.

Hold on a mo. Modern types? Fill me in, won't you?

Maybe an address then? I'm a London man myself.

It's just as it sounds, I'm afraid. Since arriving here, I've been informed by nearly everyone I've spoken too that I am behind the times -- by a little over one hundred years.
sebasher: (Moderate your 'cobra neck' Prof.)

Sorry, old chap. Haven't got it on me. But I'll see what strings I can pull if a trip back to London's in the future. [Like he's going to give up the name of his tailor. Oh please, Watson.]

Now you're pulling my leg. Have you any real proof of this? Anyone can slap on a grin and slip a lie or two into your head. [Sebastian know. He's well acquainted with that sort of situation.]

I'd appreciate it.

It could be carefully orchestrated of course, but there'd be very little point -- given they've already managed to abduct me, I don't see what the aim would be in filling an entire library of newspapers and history books detailing the future in mundane and entirely unnecessary amounts of detail, not to mention coordinating the clothing of everyone who claims to be from similar time periods -- not to mention that if they had the potential to produce such technology on a whim as a prank, they would surely have made a name for themselves as peerless inventors before now.
