Welcome to the second season of the Asgard Eventide Test Drive Meme! This is your hostess, Noah, very pleased to bring this back after the success of our last drive.

Now the steps are the same as the last time. In fact, mostly copy-pasta:
Step 1: Post with the character and journal you're wanting to play. You're more than welcome to leave the message blank or have a fun little scenario going on. Like fighting that dragon thing or other Assgard shenanigans.

Step 4: Spread the word! Bring a friend! Make a random announcement on D_M! Get this post to crack the hundreds! It doesn't matter if you end up apping or not! This is a place of fun and meeting new people before the waiting!

Okay I was a little off in my scheduling the last time, but these memes will go up the day of reserves, depending on my own ability to get them up. Other than that, go ahead and have fun.

[He bows slightly, ever polite.]

I simply want to help. Because this is Asgard, and I'm sure you have a lot of questions right now about this place, don't you?

[furrows]

[For some reason, Alan seems more accepting of the whole 'angel of the Lord' thing than most people would.]

...Asgard.

[Why did that name sound familiar- oh wait, that had to do with Norse mythology, right?

But then it hits him that this is nowhere near home.]

I have to get back. I have to-- Alice. Oh god, Alice. [And he buries his face in his hands, more worried now than ever.]

*A*

[clockeyes]

Alice? Who is Alice?

[He quickly gazes around, but no, there aren't any other faced people among the crowd.]

She might be home, sir! And in that case, I'm sad to say that we can't go back. I'm sorry.

[furrows]

She's... she's my wife.

[Unburying his face now, and looking really really bleak.]

She's been kidnapped, and I've written something that will eventually have the Darkness take over the world. If I can't go home, there may be no way I can save her.

[clockeyes]

Oh, your wife? Oh gosh, I'm so sorry...

[Though he tilts his head a little at what he says next.]

Darkness? That doesn't sound good. And you say you wrote it? That is all very upsetting, but sir, I'm in the same situation as you are. None of us can go home until we do our duty here.

[furrows]

[He shakes his head at that.]

I was tricked into writing it. The Darkness was always in Bright Falls. It was just waiting for a writer like me. [He pauses at this, because Cheriour doesn't sound familiar with it.] The Darkness is an evil force that touches things and can... kill them as well as make them their pawns. The only thing it's weak against is light. So it won't show up in the day.

But... it took my wife from me. Kidnapped her, and has her captive somewhere. If I don't do anything, what I've written will come true and the Darkness will cover the whole world.
