TEST DRIVE MEME

❧ basic info.- Anyone can post to the test drive meme, including duplicates! Please put your character name and canon in the title of your comment.
- If you decide to apply to the game, you can use your TDM threads for your app samples! You only need to provide seven comments if you use TDM samples.
- You can make up your own scenario, interact with one of the locations in the game, use the welcome process of your character waking up or selecting a god house, or use our optional prompts below!
- You do not need to pick a god house to play on the TDM!
- If you are accepted to the game, you can keep TDM threads as game canon as long as you fudge some of the details depending on your original thread. Optional events this month can be considered game canon as well! We've specifically structured these prompts to fit in with the IC timeline of Asgard itself.
- Applications open on June 1st at 12:01AM EST.
- Please always feel free to contact the mods if you have any questions! Have fun, dear (future?) Wanderers. ♥
❧ THE ARRIVAL.You're welcome to use a character's arrival as a prompt! Some general information about the arrival process is here. They're then free to explore at least some of Gladsheim Palace, given space enough by the local gods to (in theory) consider which god they'd like to choose to affiliate with. Though most days, Wanderers aren't to step inside Gladsheim Palace without direct permission, the day of arrival is an exception and both new arrivals and Asgard veterans alike can be found wandering the halls. ❧ THE GARDENS. Flowers are in bloom everywhere around the castle. In one particular place, flowerpetals are falling(?) freely from the trees. However, when the petals fall they seem to just..float mid-air without any discernable explanation. If you touch one of these flowerpetals, you might find yourself floating, too.
❧ THE CHASE.
You've just arrived and have precious few items on your person. As you begin to wander around the castle, you feel a something bump into you and speed by in a blur! A large rat-like creature has just stolen one of your few valued possessions. You can either choose to pursue the creature and force it to return the item, or face the loss and continue to make your way without the item. The choice is yours.
❧ MAGIC TRINKET.
Upon wandering the halls of Asgard, you happen upon some homemade jewelry that has been crafted by the native locals. They seem eager that you take it without giving them anything in return. However, it soon becomes apparent that the bracelets come with certain...side effects. No sooner than you take it in your hand and walk away, you begin to feel strange. Depending on the bracelet, it causes the wearer to compulsively tell the truth, speak in rhyme, or even become unable to speak entirely!
❧ NETWORK.
( Network posts are fair game, in this test drive! Network access information can be found here. Note that characters' names are shown - as opposed to choosing usernames - and that the network can't be accessed accidentally. Consider mentioning whether your post is text, audio, or video for clarity! )
