skadi is the goddess of art and tradition, and she's pretty fond of the tradition where wanderers stay the fuck away from her unless they have something artistic or fascinating to show her. she tends to involve herself as little as possible with the varying puppet shows of idiocy that the other gods keep churning out to entertain said wanderers. honestly, she barely gets involved with shit that actively impacts asgard as a whole.
things she's conditionally fond of:
- mortals who actively care about preserving what the mother (yggdrasil) created.
- art of any form - the better the art, the more tolerable the mortal.
- wild card mortals who do the unexpected so she can watch how it plays out, though this one has the potential to be negated the more obnoxious/tryhard that person is.
she can be interacted with in her temple, but can also be found in the park in her district, occasionally in the woods, occasionally at the big godly celebrations. she also made tall pointy-faced guardians to patrol when asgard was under undead threat and has taken to them rather fondly (as hard as it may be to tell). both they and a flappy-faced rendition can now be found wandering the city as a whole. they're fully interactable, and if you ask more than basic commands of them (sparring partner, reaching something tall, etc), skadi herself can speak and act through them.
lalli is a poorly-socialized night scout from post-apocalyptic finland. he's is rude and blunt and kind of a gremlin but he's generally a decent human being. he was raised from a young child for pretty much the sole purpose of being a mage by a grandma who taught him fun lessons like "you can't make a single mistake, ever" and "having empathy and sentiment make you susceptible to the undead voices whispering in your head so fucking don't", which pretty much explains like 90% of how he is as a person.
but! here in asgard he's spent like six months learning how to chill out and be slightly more of a normal human being, thanks to actual friend/loved ones (what a concept) and what's typically a prevailing sense of safety.
he's also pretty deep in scouting the woods on behalf of himself and also honir, which led to this mystery that he's currently trying to solve. he's somewhat down to teach others how to navigate the woods, if the alternative is to run off into the woods by themselves like idiots without considering that it Isn't That Simple.

Emil comes from a world of disfigured undead creatures, a horrific illness -- but he was born into a life of comforts that he's slowly been pushed out of. While he's found a sense of humility and camaraderie through his journey back home, it doesn't keep him from still holding on to some holier-than-thou attitudes and foot-in-mouth syndrome. He's more obviously a soft, good guy now, but he occasionally lapses, espeically around people he makes snap judgements about or he doesn't know well.
Asgard wise, Emil's on the better side of confronting having died during the Wight battle. The house that his cast + Klaus has made is 90% done barring fine details, and he's now coasting on having been here for six months by enjoying the months where nothing has really happened. Unlike some, he's perfectly content to not get too involved with things that don't impact him living his best life, but between events or whatever Lalli is doing, he usually gets dragged in anyway.

❧ General admission that I'm open to basically any and all CR!
❧ Still open to Tyr CR, despite Emil not being there in like...two months. Just that random guy who pops in looking for Klaus or eating food once in a blue moon, hello.
❧ Fellow firebugs :') Look how useful we are during this event.
❧ Emil can be kind of a rude little shit, stubborn, inconsiderate at times -- he tries 80% more than he used to, but that doesn't stop the stray urge to be a lil bitch from jumping out now and again, so negative CR is also wanted (and basically expected).
❧ There are definitely those more trained and equipped to handle battle and such here, but if some poor sap falls into his lap somehow, he's not totally ignorant of how to get by.
❧ In general, he could do with a more expansive friend group since he's isolated himself on accident.
❧ Also trying to navigate this whole Rhys vs. Gaige thing because this is somehow Really Complex now that he knows what the word "genocide" means.
❧ Learning how to have a boyfriend for the first time, why is this so hard????
❧ Finding some new project to invest himself in now that his house is done and he's given up on this pond idea he has (or, he's going to ask Honir to do it for him instead of digging any further into the dirt).
❧ Probably going to ask for more of his explosives hoard or something for his December boon, if anyone wants to blow some shit up. It's been way too long, magic just ain't the same.
