❧ optional scenario.A thunderstorm seems to have taken over Asgard's sky, dark clouds hanging eerily low and crackling with energy. The entire city is cast into a gloomy grey, the actual colors of the plants and buildings just a little more dull than normal. The air feels thick and heavy, even indoors, and the weather seems to be having varying effects on everyone.

sudden clap of thunder might bring back a sharp memory of the last time you were truly afraid of something.
A
bright flash of lightning might make your heart race with excitement and a sudden drive to do something you ordinarily wouldn't.
The
heavy downpour of rain might make you inexplicably sad about something, whether real or imagined.
These effects might only last a second, or perhaps they stay with you all day. Maybe you just have to get out of the rain and dry off, that's all - perhaps it's just normal weather.

I'm more concerned with picking a God house. Theoretically, all we need is a vague similarity to their personalities, yes? But they're vague enough that I think we could get away with picking almost any, so long as we find we're not diametrically opposites.
So. Which is the most advantageous of them all?

Why should we pick a god house at all? ( her tone is slightly less argumentative - after all, she's not really mad at you, stranger. she's more angry at the situation. ) I don't know about you, but I've sworn enough loyalty back home - I'm fresh out.
( advantageous. something about this woman reminded her of thom, her twin. he would be trying to find the trick in this as well, the way to turn this to his advantage. gods, she hadn't even been gone for long and she already missed him, and missed the feeling of her Gift, the way that they stayed connected despite the distance. )

( a knight had to be a woman of her word - the code of chivalry bound them to it. and perhaps that was what made this so hard - she couldn't imagine swearing any kind of fealty to anyone but the crown - because the crown had come to represent roald and lianne, and jonathan. it wasn't just a nameless, faceless entity any longer.

No. It's more than possible. It's just a matter of technology and intelligence-- and fortunately for us all, I have more than enough of the latter. The former, however . . . that may be more tricky to stumble upon.

It sounds like you're planning to play along in the meantime. ( and maybe that was the best approach - it would certainly be the easiest. alanna had never really been one for the easy path. ) How long do you think it would take you to bring us back?

It depends. If I had all the materials I needed? A week. Two, perhaps, on the outside. But given the limitations here . . . truly, I don't know. I'll have to see how many substitutes I'll need to find and create.
