Future Plans: That. That is a good question. Settling in is the #1 priority. Figuring out why he can't do half the physics defying stuff he could do before might be #2. Everything else will follow.

About Your Character: Oh god do I need to make a blurb. OKAY. He's a businessman who grew up wanting nothing more than to run a company. He used to make business cards as a kid. No joke. He also used to admire a violent megalomaniac and wants to be just like him (???). It's Borderlands. Everyone's an asshole here. Sooo he's pretty manipulative, happy to stab people in the back unless he really cares about them, and willing to do just about anything to reach his goals. He's also pretty charming, though, and does know how to be nice.

Wanted CR: Literally anything. I really, really want him to make some close friends though! People who can be a good influence on him and just kinda be like wtf is wrong with you. I want him to grow into a better person! But enemies are also A+++

Future Plans: idk nothing. He might try to introduce the gods to the concepts of currency and business, and he'll also want to keep records of everything that's happening. He will absolutely HATE not having a computer to do this with, or an eye that can just record everything for him. He'll also most definitely have a hand in the eventual development of the network bc, gods, being able to call each other is really handy.

Wanted CR: Too early to tell what yet! I'd love to get some initial 'welcome to human society' stuff to bring the character into the strange world of cities and towns. But all is good!

Future Plans: Short game? I'm a sucker for Slice of Life, affection, and lighthearted stuff mixed with plot and occasional development at first, branching off into other things as the characters get to know each other. Long game? Slowly chipping away at Fran's issues with crowds of people and overly modern small areas.

About Your Character: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a PRIESTESS from a CREEPY SHADOW CITY and she CANNOT FLY AT ALL. Mel isn't unfriendly as much as she's perhaps not the best at casual social contacts, so if you want to hear some weird shit (tm), she's your girl. She enjoys fires, avoiding sleep, standing menacingly in a corner, and the great outdoors, as well as oversharing about her weird belief system. /fingerguns

Wanted CR: Anything goes. Friends, enemies, people who find her weird, people she can find weird. Njord is the god she'll go with, so fellow Njordians would be great, too!

Future Plans: Trying to settle in and adjust, first and foremost. She isn't exactly used to being removed from her Purpose, so that'll have her reeling a bit – in general, she needs to do some... discovering of what it means to be a person, rather than a vessel for ye olde lord of light.

About Your Character: Quentin is a gigantic, absolute dork who loves fantasy and fairy tales, his favourite being his canon's version of the Chronicles of Narnia. He's mentally consistently battling depression and anxiety but he's mellowed out and is less neurotic about it at his canon point. He's a Magician, and while he doesn't have powers here it's very very important to him--think if Hogwarts was a post-grad and everyone was a borderline alcoholic. He also traveled to not!Narnia and became a King after a while? His canon's very weird.

Either way he's intelligent, introverted, and despite everything I've said he's quite fond of parties and get-togethers. He's either going to be in the library or the closest bar/inn/tavern/what have you.

If he gets drunk, he will spend 15 minutes arguing about his version of klingon vs high valyrian, the nuances in grammar structure, and which is superior. He's that kind of guy. He probably had an ao3 account before he was banned from being pedantic.

Wanted CR: A few extroverts that he can hover around, he tends to gravitate towards those. People from high fantasy or historical canons he'd find fascinating! I'm open to anything and everything while he settles. Drinking buddies.

About Your Character: Medieval hero from Fake Northern England/Scotland preparing to try to save humanity from an army of ice zombies. Incredibly decent person; very skilled fighter; humble, brave and self-sacrificing; protects people who need protecting; kind of a sad, intense demeanor. Raised as a noble (privileged education, childhood home, and manners) but also a bastard (very stigmatized position); has repeatedly risen to peer-elected leadership positions on personal merit and fitness for the job. He’s in Tyr and is possibly the oldest 24-year-old anyone will ever meet. His canon point is between S7 and S8.
Wanted CR: Any and all is cool: the only things I don’t like are dedicated life-ruiners and plots that leave my characters holding the idiot ball. Jon is good with: Other medieval/fantasy types, historical types, other heroic types, people who aren't absolute monsters but might tease him a bit for living at the intersection of honorable and brooding, people who have experience as military leaders, people who are just good people.
Future Plans: Settling in, for now. Possibly eventually building a house. Hanging out with his dead brother and his living sister. Introducing his living girlfriend to his dead girlfriend. Being uncomfortable around Melisandre, as one does. You know, normal stuff.

Special note about TDM threads: I really enjoyed my TDM threads — but I also bailed on a bunch of them pretty early without meaning to, because my dog died. I’d love to continue those threads on the intro log! In most cases I think we can probably just pick up where we left off. I’ll include a thing for it in my top levels.

About Your Character: Tony Stark is full of witticisms, brilliance, and regret. He's coming off post-Endgame, so if folks do not want to be spoiled for that, please duck away from this CR thread! At any rate, Tony is a bit sassy, but is an absolutely brilliant engineer who truly does have his heart in the right place, even if he's an arrogant piece of shit while doing it. He loves, loves both his actual family of Pepper and Morgan, and his found family in the Avengers, even if he would probably never actually admit the latter out loud.

Wanted CR: Anything! I am not really looking for romantic CR because Tony is a married dad now, but I thrive on found families. Do you have a shitty teenager that needs adopting? Tony is great at probably getting them killed. Also, friends! Science bros! People who he can commiserate about... what he experiences with in post-Endgame? Also, Tony is in Odin!

Future Plans: Tony is going to be working through his trauma of Endgame and probably be a hot mess for awhile. It's going to be a long haul, folks. But he's a naturally curious type of fellow, and will be set on figuring out the mystery of Asgard once he gets over the initial "well, fuck me, right?" hurdle.

About Your Character: Tessa is a survivor of the zombie apocalypse that happened worldwide in 2016. She lost her parents, sister, friends — everyone — but crossed paths with a guy who was decent enough to teach her survival skills and fought off the undead with her. She is an unmotivated slacker who has slowly been learning skills and how to make decisions for herself. She used to be a complete follower who hated being in charge, but her survivor buddy Mike was forcing her to think for herself in case he died and she had to take care of herself. But it's a slow process and she might backslide a bit into letting others call all the shots. Basically she needs to remind herself that it's not what Mike would want and she needs to depend on herself. She also would really like Mike to end up here and really not go back to the zombie-infested world she comes from, even though it's been stressed she doesn't belong here.
Wanted CR: Nice people who don't want to eat her brains. But also people she can lean on a little, but not too heavily because she really does need to learn to make her own decisions.
Future Plans: I'm looking for a lot of growth for her from unmotivated and lazy to someone who takes charge and is comfortable with that! Plus her learning how to use her god powers is going to be really fun! I want her to have a solid group of friends and I'd love a found family dynamic too!

Dave was just a normal 13 year old boy living in Houston with his normal big brother who kept shitty anime swords in the fridge instead of food and made Dave fight him on the regs. He and his 3 friends started playing a game called SBURB that resulted in the end of the world and them trying to win the game in order to create a new universe they could live in. He gained time powers and saw so many dead duplicates of himself.

You know, just normal kid stuff.

Without getting too into the convoluted nitty gritty of Homestuck, I'll just say Dave grew up trying to seem as cool and aloof as possible, because he was taught that that was the way to be. He drew shitty comics, because it was ironic, made some raps, because that's chill, troll trolls online, and other cool kid activities. Through the course of the comic he's learned his bro definitely wasn't passing on the healthiest of ideals, that maybe it's okay that he's into dudes, and though he still remains a bit of an aloof ass, he's more in touch with feelings and all that junk (though he still keeps way too much to himself...).

Basically, what I'm saying is, he can be your raddest friend if you don't mind some jabs, or he can be your enemy dropping ice burns on you for fun. Or even both, why not

Future Plans:
TBH, don't have anything in mind. He'll be grumpy that he's essentially being forced into another game or whatever you'd call where they've found themselves sans Karkatthe important folks in his life so there's that. But otherwise I just like to play by ear and set what comes naturally.

About Your Character: Constance is a cloth merchant's wife from 1600s Paris — or used to be, until the husband she loved not at all died. At the recommendation of d'Artagnan (with whom she had an affair, ended it, started it again, etc etc), she was taken into court and became the closest confidante and handmaid of Queen Anne. She's very headstrong, stubborn and fiery in temperament, and extremely loyal to those she loves. She has a very strong moral compass that she follows, no matter what the society or other people tell her. She's smart, has a wry sense of humor, puts up with no bullshit, and is extremely kind to those in need. More info here. In Asgard, she is in house Heimdall, and to those familiar with the series, her canon point is 2x10, just before she is about to be executed.

Future Plans: Confusing culture shock, because some of this is familiar for him, but obviously it's not quite familiar–he'll obviously be telling people that no really HE'S a god because, duh.

About Your Character: Oh Steve what can I say about Steve. Captain Sass and Spangles. Steve is a genuinely good guy, who is stubborn af. He's been through a lot in the last few years but he's still pretty much the same scrappy, stubborn, idealist who joined the army when he was only 100 pounds soaking wet. He's coming from the end of Avengers:Endgame...almost the end anyway. So if you don't want spoilers please let me know. Also he's Heimdall House.
Wanted CR: Absolutely anything. Steve is friendly and he enjoys people for the most part (unless you're a nazi but i'm also open to negative CR).
Future Plans: I don't have a lot past exploring and figuring everything out. Peggy is here so that's going to be a thing. A very good thing. This is also the first time in a while that he's not going to have his powers. So while he didn't go back to pre-serum Steve he's basically just an average baseline human now; albet a strong, athletic one, but he's not going to be lifting up girls on motorcycles any time soon. So that might be a thing he's dealing with too.
