You can make up your own scenario, interact with one of the locations in the game, use the welcome process of your character selecting a god house, or use our optional prompt below! You do not need to pick a god house to play on the TDM! You can have your character still in the process of discussing/deciding/despairing instead. If you are accepted to the game, you can keep TDM threads as game canon as long as you fudge some of the details depending on your original thread. Wanderers. ♥ ❧ optional scenario. As you enter Asgard proper, many of the natives have gathered into curious crowds to greet these mysterious children of the World Tree. Some of them carry baskets of flowers and nervously offer one to any Wanderers that come near. They are vibrant and colorful, picked from the wilds surrounding Asgard, and they might have an odd effect on your character if they sniff the flowers directly. Purple flowers will make your character very giggly and easily amused by everything they see and hear. Orange flowers will make your character feel very warm all over, like the sun is beating down on them directly. Blue flowers will make your character somewhat short and impatient with anything that seems like even a minor inconvenience to them. Effects of the flowers can wear off anywhere between a few minutes to an hour. And for those new to Asgard, this scenario aligns with some of the general curses we might have in the game! navigation.

Who knows if it's even catchy for trolls? Never got a human cold after all. Don't know what they've got here for patching people up just yet. Not really my department. I'm more of the taking them apart type.

Taking them apart? Like a surgeon?

[A doctor? Someone like that, she hasn't met any of those in years. But yet they still had to learn at least some basics to be able to survive the outbreak and aftermath since.]

[She turned to Clementine and smiled with all those sharp, pointy teeth visible. Was that the smile of a doctor?

Heh, nope. Nice try, but I meant taking them apart because they had it coming.

Because.....what?

[For revenge? Because they could? Clementine isn't sure she agrees with that. When she has had to do so herself, it has usually been because she had to out of self defense, or protecting someone else. Killing just because 'they had it coming' sounds like something Carver might do.]

Depends on who we're talking about. Last one I was taking apart was a murder happy clown I was trying to put out of everyone's collective misery.

[Yeah, well, Clementine's fears weren't entirely inaccurate. Not all those kills were even half as justified as her attempt on Gamzee.]

But I'm much more a fighter than I am a healer's the point.

I....I get that. Sometimes things happen and you have to defend yourself. Protect others. I've well past lost count how many walkers I've had to deal with.

[And all the people that had died. Protecting her, either directly and purposely or indirectly because of being involved with Clementine somehow. Javi and the others got the best deal really.]

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't doing it because he pissed me off in ways you can only imagine, but it definitely was a favor to everyone else.

But that's enough about Clowns. Screw 'em. If I never see another clown in my life it'll be too soon

I'm not sure if they have clowns here. So you might be in luck.

[The closest thing might be the performers for plays or something? She isn't sure yet here if they have clowns, like the ones that do parties and games and tricks and stuff at least.]

Let's hope so. Clowns are awful things, if you ask me. Always honking and making everyone's lives difficult. No such thing as a good clown.

[Not even dead ones. They just reappeared in dream bubbles and honked there.]

I...haven't seen any clowns around in years now. Not since birthday parties were celebrated, before the outbreak, I mean.

[Assuming they mean literal clowns with their unicycles, juggling, face paint and large shoes and nose and all.]

Lucky for you. Lucky lucky. Now we just have to keep it that way. And, if you hear random honks? Just be ready.

Only one I know's a murderous nutjob.

A....murderous nutjob clown? You know the idea is that they are silly and make kids laugh, right?

[Or, that's how she remembers it, at least. When she saw them. Before the outbreak and everything changed, anyway. But maybe they were different for Terezi?]

[Blink. Blink Blink. No, wait, John had said something about that at some point, hadn't he? She was sure of it. She almost laughed, but that shit was no laughing matter.]

Not troll clowns. It's a whole religion, and that nublicker was completely insane.

A...religion? I have no idea what a nublicker is.

[It sounds weird? Clem is Unsure.....]

Eh, you really don't need to know. It's just something insulting you call a troll. [She considered and shrugged.] Like Ass kisser? That kinda thing.

And yeah, juggalos are a whole religion for the highbloods. It's really creepy and weird. Don't ever bring up miracles. I've had my fill of "miracles." [complete with airquotes.]

Okay......? Miracles? Like, the whole turning water into wine or healing people that were said to be incurable or that sort of thing?

[Which is usually just. Science? Developing to do more over time. At least as far as Clementine knows. Not that she got far with her education and all, considering everything back home, but still.]

Ugh... don't ask. Just don't ask. None of us ever figured out what he meant by miracles. [She shook her head.] Though I'm sure he would have said those kinds of parlor tricks were miracles.
