All threads are considered open to everyone! Tag around and make some friends (or enemies)! If you decide to apply to the game, you can use your TDM threads for your app samples! You only need to provide seven comments if you use TDM samples. You can't be "late" to a TDM! This will be considered open until the next one goes live next month. You can make up your own scenario, interact with one of the locations in the game, use the welcome process of your character selecting a god house, or use our optional prompt below! You do not need to pick a god house to play on the TDM! You can have your character still in the process of discussing/deciding/despairing instead. If you are accepted to the game, you can keep TDM threads as game canon as long as you fudge some of the details depending on your original thread. Wanderers. ♥ ❧ optional scenario. As you enter Asgard proper, many of the natives have gathered into curious crowds to greet these mysterious children of the World Tree. Some of them carry baskets of flowers and nervously offer one to any Wanderers that come near. They are vibrant and colorful, picked from the wilds surrounding Asgard, and they might have an odd effect on your character if they sniff the flowers directly. Purple flowers will make your character very giggly and easily amused by everything they see and hear. Orange flowers will make your character feel very warm all over, like the sun is beating down on them directly. Blue flowers will make your character somewhat short and impatient with anything that seems like even a minor inconvenience to them. Effects of the flowers can wear off anywhere between a few minutes to an hour. And for those new to Asgard, this scenario aligns with some of the general curses we might have in the game! navigation.

[ A satisfied little smirk briefly lingers on her face. Good. Finally, that's settled. When they do eventually make it back to Frigg, and to the building where they'll be housed for now, Bree is genuinely tired, and fairly sure she'll just sleep solidly tonight. It does have her missing Lizzie, to be nearby, to keep her company in the same room.

But she'll be fine. She will be. ]

Well, I'm exhausted. I think I'll be asleep the moment my head hits the pillow.

[She'll thank her daughter for taking one for the team later. Claire's a little in awe of the place, undeniably not fussed at having to stay here, and it's a good enough distraction to take off the edge. For now.]

Let's get you settled, then.

[If Bree doesn't think she's getting personally walked into her room, she's wrong.]

I would like to hold ye in my arms. Once more before we part.

[ He sounds a little sheepish, asking this of Brianna. A much as he's missed his wife, this is his daughter right before him. ]

Mama.

[ She follows that up with a fond rolling of her eyes and a little smirk. A mother through and through, that's for sure.

Once in her room, she finds it cozy, at least. Then Jamie's words pull a fond smile from her as she steps forward to hug him. ]

I'm really glad you're here, Da.

[It takes her breath away, seeing them hug. And hug so damn easily.]

You two are going to be the death of me.

[Might as well call it like it is, if everyone's going to be so blunt. Brianna.]

[ Jamie's arms wrap around her, and then he presses a lingering kiss to her temple. ]

Funny, Sassenach. 'Tis how I feel when I see the two of ye.

[ It's certainly mutual. ]

[ It's a moment she knows that neither of her parents ever expected to see, or have, and Brianna feels that deeply, lingering in it, regarding it with the importance it deserves.

When she finally pulls back, she's smiling up at Jamie, watching his face for just a moment before turning to her mother.

Then, she initiates a tight hug with her, whispering against her ear words that she perhaps hasn't said enough. ]

I love you, mama.

[Neither of them say it enough. Claire knows she's guilty of it, perhaps the most.]

Oh, I love you too, Bree.

[She hugs her so tightly she hopes she knocks some of the wind out of her lungs. Then, she kisses her cheek, smoothing back her hair as she reluctantly pulls away.]

We'll be right next door.

[ Jamie watches them embrace and wants to weep, but he won't. Plenty of time for that later, likely. He wants to tell Bree that he loves her with all of his heart, but maybe if she didn't say as much to him, he shouldn't say it to her yet. ]

Goodnight, Brianna.

[ 'Bree?' He'll have to tell Claire about that. ]

Sleep well, a leannan. And come and get us for anything, aye?

[ She does feel closer to Jamie, she even thinks of him fondly, and it's comfortable and easy to call him Da. But she's not quite there yet, ready to say deeper things out loud. She does care for him, though, and when she pulls away from her mother - suitably winded for the briefest of seconds so thanks mama - she gives her father one last hand squeeze. ]

I will. See you both in the morning.

[ God knows when because she's assuming they won't actually be sleeping tonight. Ew. ]
