You can make up your own scenario, interact with one of the locations in the game, use the welcome process of your character selecting a god house, or use our optional prompt below! You do not need to pick a god house to play on the TDM! You can have your character still in the process of discussing/deciding/despairing instead. If you are accepted to the game, you can keep TDM threads as game canon as long as you fudge some of the details depending on your original thread. Wanderers. ♥ ❧ optional scenario. As you enter Asgard proper, many of the natives have gathered into curious crowds to greet these mysterious children of the World Tree. Some of them carry baskets of flowers and nervously offer one to any Wanderers that come near. They are vibrant and colorful, picked from the wilds surrounding Asgard, and they might have an odd effect on your character if they sniff the flowers directly. Purple flowers will make your character very giggly and easily amused by everything they see and hear. Orange flowers will make your character feel very warm all over, like the sun is beating down on them directly. Blue flowers will make your character somewhat short and impatient with anything that seems like even a minor inconvenience to them. Effects of the flowers can wear off anywhere between a few minutes to an hour. And for those new to Asgard, this scenario aligns with some of the general curses we might have in the game! navigation.

What do we do, pass out flyers and offer a reward if anyone finds our friends?

[ The area doesn't seem to be aggressively populated, at least. And if they're friends are here, it's usually par for the course that they all bump into each other. ]

They usually make themselves known. [ their friends aren't exactly the most subtle. if anything, these two people sitting here are the only ones who can handle anything close to subtly which is... sad.]

[ If Eliot only gets one person, he’s honestly glad it’s Margo. He can’t imagine life without her, really, and she’s honestly the most resilient person he’s ever known. He needs her. Especially now. ]

Which one is less p-whipped? Penny 40, right? [ she taps the tip of her nose and nods.] He was more fun. P23 was less pissy though.

Penny-23 was definitely more helpful.

[ Meaning, Margo's right, Penny-23 didn't bitch as much. And being stuck in Fillory, it's not as if Eliot got the luxury of bonding time like everyone else did. ]

What if we got both?

[ Said with a sudden look of vague dread. ]

[ She lets out a laugh.] Maybe he can out-surly the morons who run this place. Wear them down with bad sarcasm.

Or you can just be yourself at them. That'd probably be quicker and more effective. Bambi knows how to get shit done.

[ Eliot smiles across the table at her. ]

But if I could get a few days to just not do anything, that'd be pretty great, too.

[ at his words, she looks at him empathically.] You and me both. As much as I live for the drama, I'm good for a while.

Between the two of us we should be able to turn this place into a sort of vacation.

[ It's no Ibiza, but. What is, honestly? ]

We can throw a party, charge people twenty ... Whatever the currency is, per head. We'll be entrepeneurs.
