All threads are considered open to everyone! Tag around and make some friends (or enemies)! If you decide to apply to the game, you can use your TDM threads for your app samples! You only need to provide seven comments if you use TDM samples. You can't be "late" to a TDM! This will be considered open until the next one goes live next month. You can make up your own scenario, interact with one of the locations in the game, use the welcome process of your character selecting a god house, or use our optional prompt below! You do not need to pick a god house to play on the TDM! You can have your character still in the process of discussing/deciding/despairing instead. If you are accepted to the game, you can keep TDM threads as game canon as long as you fudge some of the details depending on your original thread. Wanderers. ♥ ❧ optional scenario. As you enter Asgard proper, many of the natives have gathered into curious crowds to greet these mysterious children of the World Tree. Some of them carry baskets of flowers and nervously offer one to any Wanderers that come near. They are vibrant and colorful, picked from the wilds surrounding Asgard, and they might have an odd effect on your character if they sniff the flowers directly. Purple flowers will make your character very giggly and easily amused by everything they see and hear. Orange flowers will make your character feel very warm all over, like the sun is beating down on them directly. Blue flowers will make your character somewhat short and impatient with anything that seems like even a minor inconvenience to them. Effects of the flowers can wear off anywhere between a few minutes to an hour. And for those new to Asgard, this scenario aligns with some of the general curses we might have in the game! navigation.

[ Right, he should have expected it. Not all alien races get the jokes and metaphors, Drax was the living proof of it. Peter's smile turns more gentle. ]

[ There's a look of dawning realization on Viv's face. ] Oh... oh, yes I have.

You are one of Captain Marvel's companions, right? [ ....Hey, at least she didn't associate him with Thor. ]

I know her, yes. [ Peter's face turns somewhat more serious. Rocket is closer to Danvers than him but the raccoon filled him on the details of what he had missed. ]

I wouldn't say we're companions, we've only worked together once but the Guardian would answer immediately if she needed us.

[ Yes, thanks for not doing that, Viv. ]

You two are close?

The Champions have fought with her in the past. [ "With" as in "against" or "with" as in "alongside"? The answer is yes. ] But not particularly close.

But she is a friend of my father's. Which makes you... an acquaintance of a friend of my father's. [ A really shitty version of six degrees from Kevin Bacon. ]

The Champions are not from the same planet as the Avengers...? [ She will have to forgive him for the confused question. Peter has been avoiding Earth for the past 8 years, Carol works all over the galaxy and Vivi doesn't look human, so he assumes they might be from some other place. He really never heard of them. ]

Cool, we have something in common already. [ Peter flashes her a grin. If she ever mentions anything about Kevin Bacon, she might become Peter's favorite person ever. ] Nice to meet you, Viv. Are anyone from your team here? I can't find mine.

[ Viv wishes to correct his assumption about being from a different planet than the Avengers, but he has already moved on to a different topic. She's sure she can clear this up later.

At the mention of her team, an expression crosses her face, something between sadness and concern. ] I have not seen any other Champions here. Nor have I seen my father. It is troubling.

[ He was asking so she's free to correct him at any time. There are far more super heroes teams out there than Peter imagined.

The look of worry on Viv's face is something he can relate to and it makes Peter try and comfort her.]

If your team are anything like the other heroes I know I'm sure they will be fine, maybe even causing trouble. They could still be around and you just haven't seen them; What do your dad and friend look like?

My father looks like myself, but based on an adult male human form. His name is Vision; he is one of the Avengers. [ Who Quill may have heard of? But never met. ]

The Champions' leader is Ms. Marvel, who can change size. The other current core members are Spider-Man, who dresses as a spider [ that probably sounds familiar ]; Brawn, a large green humanoid who is also very intelligent [ that too ]; Snowguard, a young lady who can shift between various animal forms; Wasp, who has a wasp-themed suit and can also change size [ not the one Quill may have met though ]; and... [ She pauses a moment. ] Riri Williams, Ironheart. She has a suit of armor much like Iron Man's. [ There's a little something in her voice when she mentions Ironheart, maybe worry.

Of course, the Champions' roster has expanded, but people are limited in their memory, and she doesn't wish to overload Mr. Quill. ]

Got it. I admit I've never seen your species before, no offense, Viv. [ The Galaxy is a huge place and there are so many races out there that it's impossible to keep track of everything. ] I've...heard about your father.

[ Peter's voice is cautious now, a little confused. She's still talking about her father as if he's alive and he doesn't want to say anything just in case it's another of those time-line misunderstandings. ]

I know Spider-man and Wasp but I'm not familiar with the rest of your team. The green humanoid goes by the name Bruce Banner where I come from. It's good to know the Earth have more people watching after it, it really needs it.
