All threads are considered open to everyone! Tag around and make some friends (or enemies)! If you decide to apply to the game, you can use your TDM threads for your app samples! You only need to provide seven comments if you use TDM samples. You can't be "late" to a TDM! This will be considered open until the next one goes live next month. You can make up your own scenario, interact with one of the locations in the game, use the welcome process of your character selecting a god house, or use our optional prompt below! You do not need to pick a god house to play on the TDM! You can have your character still in the process of discussing/deciding/despairing instead. If you are accepted to the game, you can keep TDM threads as game canon as long as you fudge some of the details depending on your original thread. Wanderers. ♥ ❧ optional scenario. As you enter Asgard proper, many of the natives have gathered into curious crowds to greet these mysterious children of the World Tree. Some of them carry baskets of flowers and nervously offer one to any Wanderers that come near. They are vibrant and colorful, picked from the wilds surrounding Asgard, and they might have an odd effect on your character if they sniff the flowers directly. Purple flowers will make your character very giggly and easily amused by everything they see and hear. Orange flowers will make your character feel very warm all over, like the sun is beating down on them directly. Blue flowers will make your character somewhat short and impatient with anything that seems like even a minor inconvenience to them. Effects of the flowers can wear off anywhere between a few minutes to an hour. And for those new to Asgard, this scenario aligns with some of the general curses we might have in the game! navigation.

[It'd be a lie to say he didn't notice her attire, but he's doing his best to be a gentleman and not declare the obvious elephant in the room, because the only real discourse there is more discussion towards the awkward and not the possibly proactive.]


It's very much a Utopia, but why would they bring us here if they didn't need aid? Something doesn't quite add up. Maybe we're a social experiment, perhaps? Or cogs in a wheel.

[ She shakes her head, but doesn't elaborate on it. Needless to say, the hospital gown wasn't a fashion choice and she wasn't your average patient either. ]

Maybe they just needed to fill the place with people, I dunno. It's better than where I was.

There seems to be no shortage of natives. Why would they need more?

[Ravi's not looking for answers so much as speculating. As uncomfortable as it might be, some questions needed to be asked.]]

You look a bit uncomfortable there, I'd offer something of mine but I'm afraid I don't have much to give. Would taking a seat maybe help in terms of, erm, draftiness?

Do you think we'll get an honest answer out of these gods if we asked?

[ Tessa's thinking no. It's a little creepy to be in a place run by people calling themselves gods, but on the other hand, she doesn't want to go back home, so it might be worth it to get in their good graces. That said, she's not sure how well she could fake being cool with them.

Now Tessa looks down at herself and wrinkles up her nose. ]

Yeah, that'd be cool. That guy said he'd find me something, but I dunno how long he'll be.

[ At least the back isn't totally open; just at the neckline where it's tied shut. Still, walking around in public without underwear on feels gross and weird, so she'd like to be out of this situation as soon as humanly possible. ]

There's benches over there. [ She points before making her way over. ]

I'm not really licensed to psychologically profile deities but so far they've been fairly forthright.

[The entire ordeal is creepy and spending too much time thinking of it only opens more avenues for questions that go left unanswered. Ravi isn't very tolerant of the unknown or unanswered questions, it's his modus operandi to figure it all out. Nothing is unknown.

Ravi follows her over with mild concern to what's still happening around them. He will fight for her honor, if necessary, but given the modesty and kindness of everyone else around them he's sure it isn't likely.]
