You can make up your own scenario, interact with one of the locations in the game, use the welcome process of your character selecting a god house, or use our optional prompt below! You do not need to pick a god house to play on the TDM! You can have your character still in the process of discussing/deciding/despairing instead. If you are accepted to the game, you can keep TDM threads as game canon as long as you fudge some of the details depending on your original thread. Wanderers. ♥ ❧ optional scenario. As you enter Asgard proper, many of the natives have gathered into curious crowds to greet these mysterious children of the World Tree. Some of them carry baskets of flowers and nervously offer one to any Wanderers that come near. They are vibrant and colorful, picked from the wilds surrounding Asgard, and they might have an odd effect on your character if they sniff the flowers directly. Purple flowers will make your character very giggly and easily amused by everything they see and hear. Orange flowers will make your character feel very warm all over, like the sun is beating down on them directly. Blue flowers will make your character somewhat short and impatient with anything that seems like even a minor inconvenience to them. Effects of the flowers can wear off anywhere between a few minutes to an hour. And for those new to Asgard, this scenario aligns with some of the general curses we might have in the game! navigation.

Endgame Spoilers ahoy

It hadn’t been that long since Quill had taken the Guardians and left and he didn’t actually get the time to get to know the man, but a familiar face is a familiar face and he’s glad to see one. Also, there’s a bit of a smirk on his face at the Captain USA name.

“Quill. Good to see a familiar face.” He holds out his hand for a friendly handshake. “Can’t say I’m clear on how I got here either. Even after everything saying magic really doesn’t sit right.”

"It is. And you do remember me." Peter offers a smile and shakes the offered hand. It might sound like he's being a bit dramatic but after what happened with Gamora, Peter's not taking anything for granted.

"I thought this place didn't exist any more, Thor said it was gone." Peter frowned at the memory but it had a layer of sympathy to it. As much as the Asgardian and he argued and traded barbs, Peter knew the man wouldn't joke about something like his home being gone.

"I tried to contact my team and some others but no luck. And I've got those..." Raising his free hand, Peter shows Steve the silver bracelet. "Can't break them, can't pick the lock...I haven't tried shooting at them yet, I like having two hands."

"Have you come across anyone who doesn't remember?" Steve hadn't seen anyone he knew yet, but the thought of people not remembering doesn't sit well.

"Yeah, I didn't either. I'm not sure this is the same Asgard. At least not the one Thor knew." Could this be what happens after Asgard is destroyed?

"Yeah, I do too." He holds up his own hand. "I think maybe hold off on the shooting for the moment. I haven't come across any of the other Avengers yet either. It might be just us."

"Not here but...back home." Peter's not sure how much Steve knows or would even care but he imagined that Rocket told him some more about the guardians while they were dead. "Gamora. She came back but she is from the past and doesn't know who I am." He fidgets a little, arms crossing over his chest. "She went missing after Thanos was defeated."

Peter looks around, avoiding Steve's eyes with the excuse of inspecting their surroundings. He has no idea what the real Asgard was like or how they got here but Roger assumptions seem to be correct.

"Might be a new one? Asgard is supposed to be a mystical place so maybe it rises from its ashes, like a Phoenix." Any guess is just that, though, a wild guess. "If that's the case, we will need to make the best of it. Somehow."

[ Steve nods. He’s heard about Gamora, from Rocket and Nebula but he hadn’t had the chance to meet her. He didn’t know the circumstances of her coming back though and she was apparently gone before everyone regrouped. ] I’m sorry.

[ It’s a good a guess as any. ] Could be, though that doesn’t explain why it pulled us here. But you’re right, we might as well make the best of it until we figure it out.

Thank you. It's so weird, the whole 'being from different timelines' thing.

[ Given how Gamora decided to put a disappearing act, meeting her is going to be tricky. The Guardian had been lucking for her and now being stuck here in this world is putting a damper on that. It's another of the reason why Peter is so frustrated. But Steve doesn't need to be burdened with all that, Peter is grateful enough that the man doesn't seem to hate his guts after what happened. ]

Maybe it has an affinity for broken things. [ Peter gives him a smile that is way too cheerful to be heartfelt. ]All the God-like beings I've met in the past enjoyed making my life a nightmare, I don't expect it to he any different here.
