VISUALIZE ME TL;DR MEME ;)

not every detail gets covered by snazzy icons and stylish [bracket] text. inevitably, small things go overlooked.
so this is where you fill them in! what's your character like in person? how's their accent? their posture? do they slouch? if you've ever wanted to gab about those little details, the small things that get lost in the shuffle but stand out on the street, here's the meme for you!
if not... well! there was an attempt. ლ(°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ᴗ°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ ლ)

I'm just. Gonna copy most of the Eachdraidh one here kay?
Height; Average height for a Noldo so... 6'5/6'6 or thereabouts (he's slightly taller than Galadriel, who's 6'4 canonically)
Weight; who knows how much elves weigh man they can walk on top of snow (heavier than he looks lighter than you think IDK?)
General Appearance;
Maglor is pretty typical Noldo! So long black hair - he wears it down to his back, and will braid it back with warrior braids for battle, but otherwise he tends to just pull it back in a messy ponytail because he is much lazy about his appearance these days - he can do elaborate braids - I headcannon the Noldo, particularly the high born ones, since they invented a process to create gems, also had a thing where they developed elaborate hair braiding styles involving gems in their house colours, so you could see in a glimpse who was with who - when they hit ME, they translated that over to the simpler Sindar warrior braids...which you can't wear unless you're a blooded warrior, but if you go to war you wear them in the colours of your liege-lord (gems or ribbons or both, maybe), and its a huge offence to wear them without being officially inducted and they used it like modern folk use dogtags... look I can go on about this forever. He's classically beautiful in the almost severe sharp-angled noldor style, I would guess.
Grey eyes that are elf bright - yes they glow - in Asgard, being that he's mostly human, they probably only do this when you get him fired up, but its his soul shining through his eyes. Yep. In ME he'd actually glow.
He's got his mum's pale complexion (when he blushes he's a firetruck) but not her freckles (secretly this makes him sad). He's limber and lean, rather than bulky, but like most elves he's surprisingly strong. He has callouses on both hands from both sword work (he's a dual wielder) as well as bow (he's not particularly brilliant but a calvary man knows how to use both bow and spear as well as sword) and on his fingers from his harp playing.
His right hand was also very badly burned - the scars are old, but he keeps splitting them, at least partially on purpose, mostly on accident. The burn scars don't bother him much, mainly because he doesn't let them bother him. However he struggles now to use that hand for a long time or it will start to cramp etc. - so he's left handed now by training, although he's actually mostly ambidextrous and prefers his right hand.
He doesn't have any other distinguishing marks physically, but he always wears the Feanorian star that is the mark of his father's house.
Physical Mannerisms;
Maglor is actually by training and nature something of a chameleon in behaviour. He's nobility - the second son to the heir of the high king (and who was once high king himself), and can conduct himself accordingly - poised, almost arrogant confidence, with a face like a mask, polite, suave and charming without ever committing anything. But by nature he's a follower, not a leader - once given the option he will actively turn into his brother's shadow - as the second son, his job was always to be his brother, the heir's, support. He can lead - but he can also fade right into the background, and will alter his behaviour according to the role he is tasked to play. He does not have his father or his brothers' charisma, but he can charm, and he knows his way around words, to both cut and to flatter. He has also spent centuries wandering by his lonesome with very little sentient contact, and so sometimes is a spooked by large crowds, although he is also a very good actor and you'd probably never know, unless you knew what his tells were. He's actually spent a lot of time learning to act human, and only relaxes that act when he's secure.
Like all elves he's naturally graceful, almost silent in his movements, when he's not actively being the Prince he keeps himself very still unless composing, very small movements of hands, but always watching - he can go almost preternaturally still, and often does when he's paying attention to things. He's most animated always with his music - when he's happy he's almost always singing or humming or playing something - he expresses emotion in music - and he scribbles, when he's composing (he has horrible handwriting unless he's writing formal letters)
In battle his style is very fluid - I say he dances, because I headcanon he never really stopped hearing the Music that his world was born from, and it marks everything he truly throws himself into. He can be a bit of a berserker, losing himself in the dance of battle.
Maglor is very affectionate with family or people he considers family. His preferred gesture is to tug or twine strands of hair. Elves and hair okay. He will press foreheads together and even unbend enough to hug, but only with those he's he's close to - strangers may find him almost stand-offish. He is fairly tactile, when he's comfortable - hand on your shoulder, clasping your hands etc. It's easier with younger people (admittedly 99% you are babies to him but like Elves like children, so he's gentler with kids than he is with adults, and severe injuries tend to ping his big brother complex and produce the same effect) as well. He may kiss a hand in a courtly gesture, and is probably still very old-fashioned in a lot of his behaviours - bowing, warrior's handclasp etc. He actually has a weird thing where he is desperately touch-starved, but feels that the doesn't deserve it from the only people he really wants it from ie his family.
Verbal Mannerisms;
Ahahah Mags and language. SO. His native is very cultured high Valinorean Old-school Quenya (with what sounds like a lisp), because that's what dad wants him to speak. Living in Middle-earth he has picked up a more casual style, and actually outside of family routinely speaks Sindarin, not Quenya, with Elves and Westron with humans. I headcanon he's a language nut, so if you yabber at him in a foreign language long enough he'll be happy to learn it off you. As a musician, he mimics very, very well. He currently speaks fluently all the standard elven tongues of ME, plus bits of the obscure ones, plus several of the human ones etc. So his vocab is quite broad, if still quite old-fashioned, and he will swear in multiple languages, often. He's usually very formal, doesn't really use contractions. With family or when he's distressed this will slowly relax - when he was a child, for example, he used third-person to talk about himself, and was perpetually using contractions. His voice is surprisingly deep for someone with such an almost effeminate face - canon says his voice is "like the sea" whatever that means.
Fashion;
Once, he would have dressed like the prince he was - fine silks, heavy velvet, damask & brocade, high-quality cotton - quite possibly handmade,covered with elaborate, delicate embroidery, often with jewels & jewelry, probably exquisitely made, perfectly suited and unique because they were gifts from dad. Nowadays he's an Exile, and coming into Asgard all his things are weather beaten, salt encrusted, and very very well patched, although still fine. No jewels or gems any longer. Everything he owns from home has the Star somewhere on it.
In Asgard he's become comfortable enough to dress simply, and perhaps a little sloppily - Alice made him shirts, and his things from home have been washed and mended. He still prefers old-style clothes - leggings, soft boots, tunics, rather than more modern clothes, usually in greys and blues, although he does also have red around (because that was dad's House colour, you see). He knows how too present himself, but often doesn't bother to do more than pull his hair back in a loose tie and straighten his clothes. You may find inkstains on fingers and sleeves.
Etc; Fan Height chart for the sons of Feanor (in order of age) + Fingon (although most of fandom agrees Fingon is teeny for a High Elf so that makes his height in this inaccurate) and Elrond & Elros (the young twins attached to Maglor). Also I never ever get tired of linking this.
