THE TEST DRIVE MEME

OPTIONAL SCENARIO: After your character receives his or her bracelet and the run-down from the faceless maids in the castle, they walk out into the city to find it in a caught in a series of small earthquakes. They are neither consistent nor severe, but quiet tremors seem to have been shaking the city all day. Some are spaced minutes apart, while the city rests for hours between others. While there seems to be no serious structural damage, some of the city's Natives can be found outside, trying to reinforce windows and right their overturned chairs and tables. Watch your step, or maybe even try to help out - they look like they'd appreciate it! Make sure to have fun, and as always, feel free to hit the mods or players up with any questions you might have! ♥

[ it has definitely been longer by arya's reckoning. moments away from boarding a ship with his coin and far wearied of the world, she probably doesn't even look that different. a little cleaner, maybe, a little longer in the hair, but jaqen always seemed to know before. perhaps he understood now.

at any rate, she's never been in the business of sharing very much, so it will very much remains unsaid. ]

No. [ yes, but she's as sullen and stubborn as ever, and caring about people hasn't gotten her very far up until now. ] Maybe. You left.

[ it's more honest an admission than she's expecting, and though the surprise disappears from her features quickly they're still most definitely there - even if only for an instant.

with a small shrug of her shoulders, she pointedly turns her gaze away. ]

[ and that is about as close to an 'i missed you' as anyone will ever get from arya stark. ]

[ he supposes he did leave as planned, then. if he had been any other man, a normal man, then she would be right - he shouldn't have gone. she had been in dire need of help. of a friend.

but such men need names that do not change and faces that always stay the same. he is No One, and he must serve, like they all must, until he dies, like they all do. even if his mission is temporarily delayed, and most likely needs to be started from scratch once he returns... that's beside the point. he is no ordinary man.

still, he knows himself. there is something he would have done before leaving her, just because, perhaps, not all of the times when he called himself a friend were lies.

of course, he may well be wrong nonetheless. this place plays a strange game. ]
