[ He flashes another small grin, returning his gaze from the window scene. Anyone who can offer him a bad pun in good faith is, until proven otherwise, a true and faithful friend. ]
Not too new, then.

Scale is ever a relative thing, particularly for we transplants. An anthill, while small by human reckoning, is no less vast unto itself for our perception of its miniaturism. Time, I think, works in similar measure -- as anyone drudging to meet a deadline can vouch.
Have you found the city to your liking, thus far? I confess some concern at just how lengthy longer might become...best that span be spent in pleasant surroundings.

Ghanima takes a sip of her coffee while she ponders the question put to her. Does she like the city? ]
As for the city... it's hard to like a prison. It's an interesting place, to be sure, and I have met people whom it will pain me to lose if I am ever released, but the fact remains that I am here against my will. It's not really something one forgets.

[ He watches her carefully as she assesses, expression schooled into an attentive ease. ]
No, I doubt that could be forgotten very easily at all. As worthy as their stated cause seems to be -- well, I cannot help but question any who need kidnap an army to accomplish it.
[ Desperate times and desperate measures, but even then, how were you to trust the loyalty of your troops? ]
Have you seen any be 'released'?
