DECEMBER TEST DRIVE

THE TEST DRIVE MEME

• Got a character you're thinking of reserving/apping this round? PUT THEM HERE!
• Threads here can count as your third person sample!
• Comment with your character's name and canon!
• This is open to everyone! Also, test drivers can tag other test drivers. :)
• Make up your own scenario or have them walk into all the doors or leave it blank for others to do it for you!

Reserves are here, and open on November 24th at 12:01AM CST. Application information (including the list of pending apps) is here,
and they open on December 1st at 12:01AM CST.
OPTIONAL SCENARIO: After your character receives his or her bracelet and the run-down from the faceless maids in the castle, they walk out to find the city blanketed with snow and in the middle of what seems to be a snowball war organized by the Native children! Be careful on your way to your Welcome House: snowballs are flying, and these groups of giggling kids don't seem to care who gets caught in the crossfire.

Make sure to have fun, and as always, feel free to hit the mods or players up with any questions you might have! ♥

[Zevran hates the cold as much as most people from a tropical climate; he's bundled in a sleek, if warm, jacket, with a black scarf pulled around his face. As a bonus, it hides his pointed ears.]

[He is, of course, drawn to the woman having just as miserable a time of this as him, and so, perched on a nearby stone fence, he answers what was was clearly supposed to be a rhetorical suggestion:]
Mmm, perhaps you should buy me dinner, first.

never be sorry for something so beautiful

[Excuse you, Zevran.

Tess looks over when she hears the voice, pausing in mid-step. 'Hey I don't know you, who you are or where you're from, you've got some bloodstains on your shirt and around the collar of your neck and I'm going to ignore that in favor of you putting a warm meal in my belly and maybe afterwards...just maybe we'll get a little something more--' that's what she's heard out of that single line.

It takes her a full moment however before it clicks in and she's saying the first thing that comes to her mind still heavy with the cloudiness of death.
]

Lend me your jacket first and I might consider it.

[Her arms tighten against her chest, teeth beginning to chatter.]

well then i am sorry for nothing.

[Zevran really, really doesn't wanna let go of his jacket, but are her teeth chattering? Oh, damn him for a fool.] I never could resist a blue-lipped woman.

[He hands it over, and his scarf, releasing his pointed ears to the world. But he's at least wearing a sweater. With sleeves. That has to count for something, right? It doesn't feel like much.]

I assume you are newly arrived, and not simply preternaturally stupid. Or perhaps a wily coat-thief, hmm. [He is already grimacing at the cold-- or perhaps annoyed with his act of charity-- but a sharp smile cuts the expression in half.]

nor i.

[Tess takes up the jacket with a mumbled word of thanks, doing it up with shaky hands. The scarf however she holds back out to him to take, eyes darting to the pointed ears as they're visible but says nothing on them.]

Makes sense that if you die without a coat you aren't about to wake up wearing one.

[Zevran is pretty used to the ears getting that muted look of confusion. Welcome to Asgard. He takes the scarf back happily, wrapping himself up again; elves were not made for the cold.]

Ah, dead? My condolences. Death is a very grim business, you know.
