Sorry, by the way, seriously I wasn't trying to actually knock you off the wall. I was mostly just trying to spook you a little bit for that snowball. I am getting pretty tired of those.

You know what, whatever, Sirius decides, because of all the things that he's encountered today, a spec-y girl who knows that Merlin's beard! is an oath is about the least strange. For instance, there's the thing about the plants, which Sirius now eyes with some admiration tinged with uncertainty.]
Ye-eah. Are you really new to controlling plants, 'cos you really need to work on your enthusiasm. Spook me a bit would have been a bit of a lighter touch, I think. Those vines seemed to have an intent.
[But he can admire the power behind it, anyways, and-- perhaps be a bit jealous, just because he misses his magic so much. Never mind that he's got some power as well. It's not magic.]
Are we meant to be fighting a war against children and snowballs, then, is that what I'm to get from this first day here, 'cos if so, you've collected the right person. As much as I resent it. [Notice how he didn't say oh it's okay!, about the vines, or all is forgiven! He's just going to move on. That's the best thing to do.] Nice dog, by the way.

No, not really. Giants, mostly, and the ugly sort of magic that the ice queen uses against us. It's bad stuff.
[ The dog seems to somehow understand when Sirius compliments him, however. His ears perk and he makes a joyous and dopey little bark, heavy tail thumping hard. He starts toward the wall, eager to sniff Sirius out, and Jade sighs as she lets him drag her forward. ]
Thanks. I'm Jade, and this is Osiris, and if you are too nice to him he will think you are his best friend ever for the rest of your time in Asgard, so please be mindful of the warning if you don't like dogs!

And then it hardly matters, because there's a dog to pay attention to. Sirius drops onto his knees, right there in the slushy snow, and greets good old Osiris with open arms.]
Aah, what a pity, I hate dogs--too late, I s'ppose-- O-siris, what are you doing with a name like that, O-siris. O-sirius, hullo, yeah--
[He's far friendlier to the dog thus far, scratching at his neck and ears as soon as Osiris draws close enough--but anyone with a friendly dog can't be that bad, can they? Or else their dog wouldn't like them. Stands to reason.]

She ducks her head and laughs a little, reaching up to tug the hood of her coat down. There are a pair of fluffy white dog ears atop her own head, and she shakes her hair out a bit to make absolutely sure that there's no snow lingering around. ]
My friend named him! You can't pin that one on me.
[ Will Graham has already tried to steal her dog, Sirius. Don't mind her if she watches you critically while you interact with him. Osiris, on the other hand, is gazing at Sirius as if he hung the moon. ]
And speaking of names, you are... ?
