better than sleekeazy's do u want some hermy

[It's a great deal of information at once, to the point where Sirius nearly feels dizzy with it all. And every new bit that she says gives him more questions--Professor Lupin, that almost gets a smile out of him, despite his wariness--and her vagueness, then, very deliberate. He's not stupid either. There's something there, but he loses the thread of that curiosity a moment later when she says Grimmauld Place, and he can feel tension, in his shoulders, in his face. Why the hell would he take anyone to Grimmauld Place? Why the hell would he be going there at all, and he's about to say something cutting, something about how she's gone and lost him completely, because there is no way he'd set foot near his mother's house--

He doesn't know what to expect when she begins rolling up her shirtsleeve. But it isn't-- that. It's cursed in her skin, it's got to be--a deliberate, sadistic carving.

But it's not half as ugly as the word itself, and he stares for only a second before he jerks his eyes up to her face. And there's horror in him now, he's not questioning her any longer--this girl who knows James, and Harry--Remus and Lily--who says she's from the future, who wears those scars--]

Who did that to you?

[He asks it quietly, tightly. He couldn't say why he's angry for her, this girl he doesn't know. But he is. Because it doesn't even matter that she knows James, all that matters is that word. No one deserves to be called it. No one deserves it branded on them. And he knows the sort of people that do that brutal, nasty work. He's related to half of them, isn't he, and his fingers tighten into fists again as he thinks that.]
