THE TEST DRIVE MEME

The city's natives are busy trying to herd cats and dogs out of the streets, the park is thronged with friendly and curious rabbits, and a small army of capybaras seems to have started a parade around the castle. Something is going on -- the natives seem exasperated as anything. Help them out? Adopt a ferret? Try to wade through goats to make it to your welcome house? At least they're non-aggressive.. for now! Make sure to have fun, and as always, feel free to hit the mods or players up with any questions you might have! ♥

[ Cesare moves out of the way to help avoid a collision. He sighs, slightly annoyed, opens his mouth to give a less than halfhearted apology so that he might be on his way, but the words don't leave his mouth before this man speaks. ]

Cesare Borgia. And you are...

[ He reciprocates he question more out of habit than interest. Finding a way home or at least finding answers are more of a priority for him than small talk and niceties. He deliberately leaves out his title of cardinal. It's a title he cares little for and he would drop it in a heartbeat if given the chance. ]

[Well, Mitchell would have rather not bump into him either. Cesare doesn't need to give out his title for Mitchell to know he is related to religion.]

John Mitchell... You are a priest...

[ One would hope he could tell Cesare is related to religion if for no other reason than the cross hanging around his neck. But regardless, Mitchell can tell and Cesare is curious as to why that is so important that it's the only thing he says. ]

I am a Cardinal, yes. What of it?

[ He speaks with a quirked eyebrow, the slightest hint of snark mixed with thin curiosity in his voice. ]

[That stupid cross hanging around his neck is totally causing Mitchell a lot of pain. If he could touch it, he would rip it off his neck and destroy it.]

Do not come any closer... [His eyes are dark and his voice threathening.]

[ Cesare has wanted to remove this cross from around his neck from the moment he entered the priesthood, but that has never been an option for him. Not while Juan still lived and had command of the papal armies. ]

I had no intention of doing so. [ The tone and dark look put him on edge, though he's not exactly frightened. ] Does my occupation offend you?

[Please do so, Cesare. Mitchell encourages you to do it.]

Good... Your occupation does offend me, in a manner of speaking. [It weakens him, in fact.]

[ Cesare lets out a derisive snort, his lips form an expression somewhere between a smirk and a grimace. ]

Then allow me to take my leave, and I will offend you no longer. [ He makes a move to leave now, unless Mitchell happens to do something to stop him. ]

[He shrugs.]

Suit yourself. [Mitchell makes no move to stop the priest. The less he sees of his kind, the better for the vampire.]
