THE TEST DRIVE MEME

The city's natives are busy trying to herd cats and dogs out of the streets, the park is thronged with friendly and curious rabbits, and a small army of capybaras seems to have started a parade around the castle. Something is going on -- the natives seem exasperated as anything. Help them out? Adopt a ferret? Try to wade through goats to make it to your welcome house? At least they're non-aggressive.. for now! Make sure to have fun, and as always, feel free to hit the mods or players up with any questions you might have! ♥

[ Claudia has thrown her hands up and is telling the animals that they win, but the joke's on them if they wind up rodent flambe in the forge....when she hears a familiar voice. She turns to confirm that she isn't going crazy and sure enough, there's Helena. Claudia looks pretty surprised! Her inventress mentor is suddenly in Asgard! And in the forge? And wait, she's also supposed to be in a hologram ball thing.... ]

H.G.?!

[ Not that Helena knows of the irony of saying that, she's still very much walking around so far as she knows, but it's a confirmation. And she gives Claudia a smile. She's still playing this as her friend - or rather, she is her friend. Whatever Helena might be trying to do she does like the young girl, confusion aside ]

This is quite an interesting place.

Just be glad you didn't show up two weeks ago.

[ Claudia isn't sure if she wants a hug or to poke Helena first to make sure she's real AND corporeal. She decides to hold off on both counts. ]

[ Curiouser and curiouser. It's no doubt something bad, from Claudia's words, but she's intrigued ]

The last thing that I remember... [ There's a pause as H.G. thinks. She shouldn't have to, not to answer, but she's finding a way to put it into words (if Claudia asks). Really, she's trying to find a way of saying it without Claudia becoming suspicious. She's not talking to her as if Helena had betrayed her, which makes her wonder (and want to keep it that way, to see what she can get) ]

I was with Pete, and Myka. We were on a little adventure, trying to find an artifact.

Somebody poisoned the water, then the city froze over with cursed ice, then we were invaded by giants. It was a rough month.

[ She keeps chattering, trying to sound casual while she tries to remember the times HG went off with Pete and Myka alone. Two stand out, for sure... normally she'd be able to rule out the horn, since Helena was in a hologram ball at the time, but it's Asgard. So before or after... or some point in the future Claudia doesn't know? Yeah, she's definitely holding off on the hug for now. ]
