• OPTIONAL SCENARIO: After your character receives his or her bracelet and the run-down from the faceless maids in the castle, they may realize that Asgard is, for the moment, completely overrun with furry animals! The city's natives are busy trying to herd cats and dogs out of the streets, the park is thronged with friendly and curious rabbits, and a small army of capybaras seems to have started a parade around the castle. Something is going on -- the natives seem exasperated as anything. Help them out? Adopt a ferret? Try to wade through goats to make it to your welcome house? At least they're non-aggressive.. for now!

[No, he can't ask other people here about how or when they died. He speaks freely enough about his own feelings on death, but it's not right to ask a pretty lady about something so awful.]

- um, yeah, yeah, I juh-just got here.

Oh, do you like it? [She refrains from doing her customary little twirl, but she does look down and smooth the lines of her dress a bit.] It's not for a party, I just needed a new dress. I am going to a party soon, though--or I suppose I was, but I guess I won't make it now.

[She doesn't sound as deflated at this realization as perhaps she should. Not going to the ball means not having to go back to Andalasia and marry Edward, and maybe that's for the best right now. She'd really like some more time to get everything sorted out in her head before that happens, thank you.]

And you must have been sleeping when they brought you here? Where are you from?

[That strikes him as incredibly sad. Dying on the way to a party, and dressed so nice.

But then she's asking him questions, and he panics. He can't say what he was really doing. He can't say where he came from. She's obviously a normal lady, like Candy, and he's just a loony who's been broken out of the bin.]

I - um, I - I c-come from - [He's fiddling with the chain around his neck, refusing to look her in the eye.] It's cuh-cuh - it's tough to explain.

[With a reassuring smile, Giselle reaches a hand out to try to comfort him--stopping just short of touching him, but it's the gesture that counts, right?]

Don't worry about it. This is all so strange, I think we're probably both in a little bit of shock, aren't we? It's all right.

[Her eyes widen slightly.]
