MONTHLY TEST-DRIVE!

THE TEST DRIVE MEME

• Got a character you're thinking of reserving/apping this round? PUT THEM HERE!
• Threads here can count as your third person sample!
• Comment with your character's name and canon!
• This is open to everyone! Also, test drivers can tag other test drivers. :)
• Make up your own scenario or have them walk into all the doors or leave it blank for others to do it for you!

OPTIONAL SCENARIO: After your character receives his or her bracelet and the run-down from the faceless maids in the castle, they may realize that Asgard is, for the moment, completely overrun with furry animals! The city's natives are busy trying to herd cats and dogs out of the streets, the park is thronged with friendly and curious rabbits, and a small army of capybaras seems to have started a parade around the castle. Something is going on -- the natives seem exasperated as anything. Help them out? Adopt a ferret? Try to wade through goats to make it to your welcome house? At least they're non-aggressive.. for now!

Make sure to have fun, and as always, feel free to hit the mods or players up with any questions you might have! ♥

No, it isn't just him. None of them can talk, trust me on that.

[She should know, she had a talking goat for a teacher for a while. That none of the animals here can talk is a bit unsettling--were they born that way, or was this world not as different from Oz as she first thought?]

Bummer. [The cat's wriggling in his arms, but he's keeping a grip on him for a moment.] What's the point of bringing in normal animals?

I think most of them are from here in the first place.

[She absently pets the bunny in her arms.]
gogglesyndrome: (Blahblahblah whatever)

If they were already here then how come the gods didn't just give them new powers to fight for them? [Sorry Elphaba. You have a kid who asks a lot of questions...but he's also a little envious that the bunny's being calm while the cat's still squirming.]

I wouldn't know, I've only been here for a few hours or so. I'd wager the animals--at least the kind that can't talk--don't give off strong enough emotions to restore this world's color.

[Or, at least, that's her best guess, from what she's learned off the guide and the letter. Meanwhile, the bunny starts wriggling in her arms. She sets it down, and it hops off immediately.]
gogglesyndrome: (Plotting here)

[Likewise, the cat sees that the bunny gets to hop off and successfully wriggles out of Taichi's arms, clawing at his hands a bit to break free. He yelps a bit before dropping the cat, watching it land on its feet before streaking off down the street. He just shakes his head, scoffing at the animal.]

Yeah, maybe. Maybe we can train them to make them stronger though. It worked for the Digimon...[Don't mind him thinking this through.]

You're new too? They probably need a lot of help, huh?

Digimon? [Now that's something she hasn't heard before.]

As far as I know, they're desperate for help. [That's about the only explanation she has for why she's here, of all people.]
gogglesyndrome: (Whoa what was that?)

Digital Monsters. They're friends of ours, sometimes enemies of ours. [Why he feels like it's okay to disclose that, well, the Digimon came to Earth anyway. It's not really a secret anymore.] They're from the Digital World, but I don't think Asgard's very close by.

Maybe...doesn't seem like it'd be that helpful though.
