"I don't think that was an important goal," Alvin says quickly, not letting it slide. Balan's stories about his youth were ones that he almost wished were left uncovered. Then again, he knows that they could be worse; at least anyone who knew about how he was after he ended up in Rieze Maxia was now dead. (Not that this is seen as a good thing.)
