• OPTIONAL SCENARIO: After your character receives his or her bracelet and the run-down from the faceless maids in the castle, the first thing they realize upon stepping outside is that the city has been all but shut down for some sort of large festival. There are stalls set up along all of the main streets, selling everything from savory foods to desserts to clothes to trinkets, and the vendors cheerfully call at people as they pass, trying to entice them over. The stalls are all decked in incredibly colorful banners and flags, as if attempting to beat back the grayness still lurking in a lot of the city by sheer physical force. Small musical ensembles play on street corners, and one can't go far at all without nearly running into someone juggling or swallowing swords. Good luck finding your god's welcome house in this chaos - the streets are pretty packed with people just milling around!

[Gaia doesn't look pleased as she walks into the festival. With everything that has happened recently, she doesn't feel like celebrating anything. And anyway, this just can't be real, right? It's already too much to have become a Norse Goddess, and now... Asgard?]

Alright! Ingrid? Olaf? Come out wherever you are! I know this is all your doing! Asgard? Did you really think I was going to fall for that? I'm not going to let this goddess thing take over my life!

[Anders feels her presence before even seeing her and he stops dead in his tracks. Bragi can fight as much as he wants, he will not make another step in her direction. Because he knows she's not another of those fucking vision. She's the real stuff.

His godly spouse, Idun. But also his little brother's girlfriend and this is not without importance for Anders.

He waits for her to come closer but there's no smile on his face as he speaks.] Seems we're home, Gaia.

[Gaia also senses his presence and turns to look behind her, finding Bragi, no Anders, standing behind her. Her eyes grow wide, and her mouth opens and closes before finally being able to speak. She remembers last night, when Idun made her seek him.]

Home? What do you mean home? Home is in Auckland, New Zealand, Anders, not here!

Asgard... There is no such place... [Even after all what happened, she still wishes to deny that the spirits of these gods control her destiny.]

[Anders looks away from her, closing his mind to the night's images, to the intensity of what happened. He's tired to fight against Bragi, against the universe.

They were supposed to screw destiny, not the other way around.] Yeah, it is. It's Asgard and we're supposed to save it.

[He reaches to touch her arm but his move stops in mid-air.] To be quite honest, I'd prefer the others to be there too.

[Even Axl.]

[She frowns when he says they must save Asgard.]

What if I don't give a shit about saving it? Huh? Don't we have enough problems at home?

[Gaia doesn't say anything when he reaches to touch her, but deep inside, she wishes he would have. For the moment, it's probably better that he didn't.]

Are we sure they aren't here? [She would be reassured if they were here too... Especially Axl...]

I don't either, Gaia ! But it's not like we have the choice. Gods don't give us most choices lately...

[Oh, he needs to punch something or someone right now.] I'm sure, as sure as I can be of anything.

New powers? I still have no idea what the old powers are supposed to be like anyway...

[He sees it as it reflects his own. He wishes to be able to go back a few months ago, when Agnetha sent him to Oslo. Why did he accept ?

[And she wishes she could go back to when she was just Gaia... Axl's flatmate... Even if she now understands so many things, she wouldn't change what she had with him for her new life as a goddess.]

[But what they fight is stronger than them. And Anders fears than here, in Asgard, Bragi and Idun's wills might become even more powerful.]
