Aliiiiice.

The Doctor loves Alice, and that was just basically instant love. There is just something about her that made it really easy. She's one of those people who really help brighten up his world. Since she arrived Asgard has been a little better and a little easier, especially because he didn't have Amy at the time.

She has the kind of curiosity he loves, and he'll be happy to encourage her for it until the end of time and space. She has such a great spirit for adventure and almost breathes it like he does, and she has a massive heart and is just overall an incredible human being. He enjoys having her here but it's also so far from what she deserves. It can be a dangerous place, and she shouldn't be in dangerous places.

But he'll protect her, of course. Basically no matter what the cost. He'll protect her with his life and would do whatever he had to to keep her safe and away from harm and if something happened to her he would... lose it. Just a bit. She's incredibly important to him already and it went in the blink of an eye. She was just suddenly there all wrapped up in his hearts. Which he's perfectly okay with.

He's just afraid he's going to lose her, really. Because it's going to hurt like hell.
