Better mentality than ??? had about himself in the beginning. It's a good thing Dirk hasn't met his straight-canon self. He's....pretty horrible.

LOLOLOLOLOL well he only doesn't care about relationships because he hasn't had the best of models to observe? Roxas was in a relationship with Nakama a long time ago, but ??? hated her guts and tried to mentally torture her through Telepathy because he thought she was going to encourage Roxas to regain all his memories at once. That didn't impact him too much, but it did leave some issues behind. Jade actually got ??? interested in keeping tabs on what romantic relationships were like when he was temporarily human............But then she had a lot of romance drama? And it really confused the heck out of ???. Then Euri told ??? that she liked Pyro, and he started to look down on relationships. The only reason he's fine with Draco & Jade is that he's friends with both of them, and he can tease them both, so it's all good.

As much as I would love to see how he'd develop with a relationship to leash him support him, ??? refuses. Because romance is for idiots, obviously (to him). orz

Dirk at the beginning is so arrogant and naive. ??? really wouldn't have liked him then. He and ??? agree on one thing though, a refusal to get into a relationship. In Dirk's case he just...doesn't want to do it again. Friends are better.
