The TL;CR Meme

one: post with your characters.
two: respond to other people's characters with your characters.
three: they tell you in detail what their character thinks of your character. TL;DR is encouraged; that's how this works.
four; optional: discuss it with them if you want! Make a big chain of tl;dr if you're up to it.
five: other people do the same thing to you! Maybe you even harvest your tl;dr to use in a CR chart later.
six: keep checking back in so that no one is ever late!

(Shamelessly gakked from places.)

Hnnggggg Lavi.

(Honestly Lavi, the less angsting and dwelling on it, the faster it heals. Everything gets fixed in time with idiotic normalcy, just look at Allen and Kanda. facescrubbing. sobsobsob)

More than anything Allen wishes it could be simple again like it used to be. Because Lavi is the brother he never had through and through. Because before his canon update even, that was how Allen resolved to approach everything. Because "here" is the only place he can do anything about, "here" is what he'll focus on. And that was before he got the guilt complex and hunted syndrome and felt like he was a danger to everyone around him. And the more people like Lavi that try to make him dwell on this thing he can do nothing about and that he can never (and I really do think it's never, at least not from forcing him) truly talk about...

It's like how most Exorcist cr functions, y'know? Being aware of the skeletons in their closets enough not to poke unless they're being especially royally stupid/hurting someone else with them. And Allen balks fucking hard and will just smile and shut down the more someone tries to pry at him for it. (It doesn't help he's blurry on everyone's personal timelines. But again, he's pushing that aside as not really mattering. He can't think about that sort of stuff beyond his general resolve on the matter.)

And the way Lavi talked about how he got beaten up because of, well -- Allen. What Tyki said, well.. Holy fuck does that give him yet another guilt complex. It kind of just reinforced his worst fears that were just getting reinforced in canon all over again. Even Lavi was suffering because of him.

As far as Allen's concerned, Lavi's angry at and blames him for what happened to him, and that Allen can't/won't tell him anything. And Allen can't blame him for that at all, and it makes him feel horrible and cornered and -- yeah. And the more Allen feels like he's bringing pain to the others by being around, making it complicated, possibly making them choose between him and their orders/the Order (which he sees as their home before his, he's the new kid, it's only right that they stay and he doesn't divide them), the more he's going to pull away, put on a smile, and try to make a clean break (until someday when things are okay again; he's ever hopeful) for their sakes. So he feels that being around them -- mostly Link, but Lavi to a degree as well because of how he reacted -- it'd be selfish. He truly believes they're all better off without him. That it's simpler for them, even if they're beyond the Order and the Noah in him is quiet atm. And the more Lavi and Link angst and take things heavily around him the more he's convinced of that.

He really misses him though. A lot. He'd been missing him already so much in Asgard (to Allen, it's like he hasn't seen Lavi in like... 8 months icly I think? asgard time + canon update). But he isn't going to make that obvious because it would just make it harder on everyone.

That said, every time he comes across Lavi, he's going to at least try to act cheerful and like everything is alright. Since his canon update is mitigated by all his development ingame and he really tries so fucking hard to leave all that behind him right now. He just wants it all to be okay. He just wants to be able to focus on what he can actually effect change on right now; what people he can still save when it feels like it's been a really long time since he could be more of a savior than a harbinger of destruction.

They'll be fine. They just need to go be dumb and normal for a while in true DGM coping fashion. Just throw him into a headlock already and noogie him for being dumb, jeez.

But Alleeeeeeeeeeeeeeen. /whine You know telling him to "back off" and "not right now" will get him to do so, however grudgingly. All he wants is for things to go back to normal too.

And...he never meant for Allen to feel guilty about it. It isn't wholy Allen's fault, Tyki played a part too in telling Cyril and not protecting Rhode. :T Not to mention Lavi will never verbally lay the blame at Allen's feet. Might think it a little but never say it to his face.

So yeah, he's angry at his situation but he's not angry at Allen for it. It's his own fault he got captured after all.

Sob. Allen, he angsts because he can't be by your side helping you. /kicks all the rocks

Yeah. He'll do that and then he'll just abruptly hug him. Sob.
