AKA he is so stupidly in love with her but he's a stupid teenage boy who doesn't quite know how to express it all the time and he still struggles with the idea of if he's good enough for her bluhbluh we have discussed this time and time again but he's doing his best to be The Perfect Boyfriend for her.
We all know that never works, so he settles for doing random stupid gestures like prom instead while idly wondering if she's going to get fed up enough someday to walk away. He's really hoping the answer is no.
