♦ three: they tell you in detail what their character thinks of your character. TL;DR is encouraged; that's how this works.
♣ four; optional: discuss it with them if you want! Make a big chain of tl;dr if you're up to it.

He just really, really ought to not stick his foot in his mouth at certain times, even when trying to make a point. Of course, he had had been thinking at that time, he might've not.
The fact remains that he did, and he can't exactly take that back...but he can, at this point, be a little nicer.
Link doesn't really think of Bookmen like hyenas picking over a place for details and such--he respects their intellect--Lavi's intellect. Someone haAnd so as long as they're stuck in this place, there's only a handful of people he thinks mostly trustworthy as allies.
Aside from...what he said, he assumes Lavi has nothing against him (much?), so he'll maintain their relationship of speaking to one another and see where that goes.
If anything, it's easier to talk to Lavi then it is to Allen these days. He's worried for Allen, Lavi he assumes is worrying about Allen as well...mutual worry, eh?
inr? The best.
But no, really, don't compare him to a hyena, he feels that way enough over battlefields of the past. More like a vulture.
ALSO I THINK YOU ATE SOMETHING WITH YOUR EDITING: Someone haAnd so as long as they're stuck in this place, there's only a handful of people he thinks mostly trustworthy as allies.

Link does pride himself on reading people, so it's quite maddening he can't quite understand Kaworu. It's like with Allen--one moment you think you understand, and then another moment, you can't. Quite maddening. See, he likes fitting people into categories of whether or not they can be trusted, and if they're good or bad.
He can't fit Kaworu into anything, really. Kaworu loves, but seeing demonstrations of that love doesn't really happen much, do they? He likes his proof. But probably one reason he doesn't really judge him is because of that whole nightmare event...it was tough to really say anything after that.
There's also Allen, who trusts Kaworu. Maybe it was that whole talk about love. But he does see/understand Allen confides in Kaworu in a way he hasn't seen before with others. He definitely doesn't see everything because he's giving Allen a lot of space for a number of reasons... it ends up that he doesn't want to touch their relationship because they're happy.
However, Link does want to come to to his own conclusions about Kaworu, which is why he actually will talk to him. Seeing he talks less to Allen because it's gotten so hard, he ends up talking to Kaworu instead. And in some ways, it's a break from trying to figure out what he believes in/where he stands.
He knows he's hardly good at talking or engaging in a proper conversation. He asks too many questions and he avoids talking about himself as much as he can. Heavens knows he's still still trying to figure out what they've talked about before...but he doesn't sense Kaworu being suspicious of him, or judging him. He needn't talk about the Order/Exorcists or about himself. He can actually not even think about it, or while he keeps on coming back to it, here is an outside person who doesn't know that Link is an inspector who's a Crow, someone who Exorcists tended to keep away from. That's what makes him easy to talk to. It's a slow realisation and Link has no idea if it's a good or bad revelation, but that it's better than worrying about Allen.
It's interaction he hasn't had for years. [So DGM only scrapes the surface of Link's childhood--orphan in a band of orphans, taken in by the Church, trained to be a Crow (pawns and those who kept Exorcists in line and prevented them from running away), etc, but from what I can see, he isn't on real talking terms with the people he grew up with. Not to mention he fucked them over unknowingly at first and that galls him. ] ANYWAY Link and normal human interaction didn't really happen much except some little moments with Allen. With Kaworu, he gains some more of those moments. After all this business with Allen and things-Allen-refuses-to-tell him, he welcomes it.
He likes it. He just won't admit that, not for a very long time.
AND CAKES...well. He doesn't remember teaching Kaworu it, but he appreciates it more than he'll let on with his expressions/mannerisms. Sob what are gifts sob.
...OKAY THAT TURNED OUT WAY TOO LONG I'm sorry...

The person that drives him up a wall and up the ceiling. Don't give him that derpish, awkward look; you make him feel guilty for being upset...Where to even start...
Link has his orders, orders that he doesn't know if he ought to share with Allen or not, so he chose not too. The more time passes, the harder it is, though. He assumes that Allen still thinks that he's that unobtrusive
furnitureshadow in the background that melts away and only pops up to chastise or remind him of the Order and rules and such...Up to this point, that is. He knows that Allen knows certain things, but he can't shake the feeling there is something that he, Link, doesn't know. And not knowing is what bothers him. Allen remains silent, and when all Link can say is "I'm not your side," it hardly leave either of them standing comfortably.
He feels they're on different levels. Part of him wants to understand, but the other part is frustrated and wants to pick Allen up and shake him a bit (nevermind the height). He used to see Allen as someone with plenty of friends/people surrounding him--someone hardly ever alone. Link thought he actually understood enough of Allen. But one thing happened after another, and when neither of them are forthcoming about canon events, it's hard to understand, but he does see some things--
Allen's more solitary than he first assumed or saw. Back when he used to accuse Allen of something, he got more of...a reaction, be it facial expressions or some kind of rebuffing (and cheekiness, too). But most recently, all he got was something that he could only describe as "resigned".
"It's okay if you don't trust me." It's that "it's okay" part that frustrates him. No, there is nothing okay about anything, and certainly not with Allen. Link can't pinpoint what even is the problem anymore.
And then Allen goes and says he's a friend, says it's fine if Link doesn't consider him one...except the problem?
Link has no friends.
He doesn't think he needs them, or wants them.
He's done fine without anything except the Order.
But Allen Walker? Honestly, did he expect to live nearly 24/7 for months with someone and expect it to not affect him? They were more than acquaintances, and they fought for the same cause, but Link thought they were on "friendly" terms, not friends. And now Allen's a marked traitor, while Link's most recent order was to disregard Allen for the sake of the 14th.
He has to disregard someone he used to watch (over).
It's like hot coals heaped on him just as he had time to nearly get used to his orders, when Allen asks him that question. Makes him stumble.
Of course, that wasn't all. Allen asks him to kill him, which is the complete opposite of his orders.
It upsets him because he doesn't know how to chose. It also upsets him because it doesn't sound like Allen. Yes, the Order did make a point, months ago, about it, but he never thought it'd come up again like that...and at a time like that.
To Link, Allen's become the embodiment of his problem--loyalty. Pledging his loyalty to one thing or another, to what he believes is best--that's Link's way. However, he knows how his childhood has shaped him, and he knows the deep dark secrets of the Order...and so he's begun to question his own loyalty. In a way, he envies Allen's (seeming) ease at choosing his own paths. There's a certain honesty to it. But at the same time, he sees how it gets Allen into trouble with people who don't understand.
He doesn't fully understand, either. But he does want to, in a way, see Allen...win.
So he plays it safe, takes his orders. Being around Allen though, bring out the conflicts within. That's why he lashes out. Allen's the problem, the person that ruined everything, the traitor, the scapegoat--
But Allen's also the savior, the one that never stops smiling, the honest...the whole can't-put-into-words.
People...they react to Allen. His character is one that brings out certain traits in people. For Link, it brings out both the worst and the best in him. It makes him angry one moment, but then chokes him up the next.
He can't quit Allen even when his pride says to let it be and go back to shadows. The Link without the Order, without Crow--is someone who lost sight of their desries, but still hopes, just a little, in someone else because they know their direction.
So when the time's right, he'll find the words to say something.
[ LET ME KNOW IF THIS MAKES SENSE? It got rather...messy. ]

They've had...one or two conversations? But he's seen Eleven around (yes he does his share of stalking people) and so Link knows he's got a lot of charisma for a person, judging by the number of replies he gets. And a stroke of genius somewhere in there too. Also: people who have experience in traveling worlds/times are handy to ask questions of when the time comes...
He just hasn't found a "good" reason yet, so to speak, to talk more to Eleven. (because Link fails at interaction and he knows it 8|) But he definitely will, in the future.
Bowties are pretty cool any time, too.

They should definitely talk more yes I'm enjoying how they bounce off each other.
Bless you, man.
