Oh Euri he is so...confused about you right now.

Mostly it just revolves around the fact that she fell in love with Pyro, of all people. It doesn't make sense to him, and he's also worried that she'll betray him in some way to be on Pyro's side. Somehow, this didn't apply to Kaz or Vanitas because he always saw Euri to be a leash for them. With Pyro, he's not sure how he got her onto his side besides unrest against the gods. He's not happy about it because 1) Pyro is not organized or subtle 2) he has to worry about her trying to destroy the city that he wants to live in. If she does end up working with Pyro to work against the gods/wreck the city & he finds out, it won't be pretty. He wouldn't have any reason to trust her at that point, especially with Vanitas back. Even now, his trust in her has waned enough that he's been more snappish at her. That doesn't mean he's not protective of her still; he WILL protect her if she's in trouble, but at the same time, he'll hurt her if she indirectly hurts him. That's why he'd rather threaten her now so that she'll take that into consideration.

But besides his paranoia towards her, ??? does care about her as a friend. Losing friendships is a very sticky issue for him, and he'd rather watch her in case he can turn her around at some point rather than destroy their friendship. (Although he's rather good at fucking up friendships.) He still cares about her feelings even if they haven't been very close recently. For one, he's a little glad Vanitas is back because he knows it'll make Euri happen. He'd still go out of his way if she needed him too.
