But no, really!

Alice is... curious about Draco. He knows Hermione, Euri, and Jade but doesn't have the same sort of personality as they do so Alice is a liiitttle confused that Draco seems so close to such different people but is a bit (she thinks) a stick in the mud. But then, she doesn't really know him all that well so maybe he's just different and she's not seen it yet. She does think he's a wonderful chess player, well, mostly.

He's British which, much like Draco, makes her more inclined to like him than others. She's just curious about him and wants to get to know him better.
