[That helps, it helps a lot with Alice. She sinks down to his level and gives the golden retriever a bit of a protective hug. No, actually, Alice will stay there on the ground for a few moments; he did come out of nowhere and Alice is still filled with anxiety. Her dog has always helped with that. She's not anywhere near as hostile as before, still looking at his attire. He has to know one of them, doesn't he? Except his jacket... a different time? Definitely not anywhere near her time.]

[He doesn't crouch, but does pull the hood from his head--albeit a bit hesitantly. He can understand how a shaded face might be less than comforting to a complete stranger--and one who is hugging a dog so ferociously.]

[Alice slowly rises to her feet; she can't help it of a hand wanders to the back of her dress, where the vorpal blade rests. One of them not on the roofs; but Ezio can't be that far off, can he? Whatever it is he does... courier things for Malik. Or does he have the day off, too? Alice misses what he says as he looks up to the buildings again. Even lets an awkward silence fall. And back to him.
