Carefully, he begins to walk.
This man is different. He can feel it in the way he sees him walk, the way his movements are graceful, casual, but alert all the same.
Watch it old man, you've got someone curious following you from a fair distance.]

Ezio can feel the other follow- not up close, but at a good distance, and he can't seem to remember when it was the last time that someone tried to keep up with him. A chase, then, is that what this was? There was no running, but it was a pursuit all the same, if only for curiosity's sake.
The Italian keeps moving, sure to wind in between people but stay just in view for the other to keep an eye on him. On more than one instance he debates blending completely into the crowd, but decides against it as that would probably make the game extremely unfair. He turns a corner and keeps going, but all the while waits to see what the other does.
After all, this is a game. He can't do all the work himself.]

He's not about to lose the other so easily, not here and not now. He slides around the corner, his boots barely making a scuffing noise on the ground as he follows, stops when he gets to close and leans against a wall to wait until their distance is acceptable once more.
All the while he is looking to the side on occasion, eyeing the buildings here and there, committing the streets to memory in the back of his mind. He will need this later and he knows it. May as well take in what he can since this character is determined to give him a thorough walk around.
Now... where is he going?]

He's good. Definitely one who has had to use those skills to survive.
Finally, after what seems like a good five minutes of Ezio silently leading the assassin around the city with twists and turns, making it more and more difficult to keep up, he stops abruptly. Pauses. Snaps his head to look back at the other fully. Grins.]
Ciao.
[And then, he runs. Time to turn this into a full-fledged chase.]

[You think this is some kind of game!?
Connor grits his teeth and figures that there is no point in calling out. If this man wants a chase then he's getting a chase, but Connor wants some answers in return for winning. Because he will win. He lunges forward and breaks into a swift run, body liquid in its every movement as he passes between pedestrians here and there, turning corners without ever losing sight of the stranger.
COME BACK HERE!
The last time he did this it didn't turn out so well, okay?]

But there's something odd about how the Italian moves. He's much faster than anyone should be for his age, let alone in what he wears. Where the other assassin is liquid, the Mentor is lightning. He bolts, not a hesitance in his step, agility and alertness found in every bone of his body. Through the crowds, avoiding running into pedestrians or even catching himself on an obstacle, until there's an open cart which he jumps right into, runs to the back and leaps right up, onto a ledge and keeps moving.
Obviously, this man is definitely not ordinary. Try to keep up, Connor.]
